Weve been forced to use this scooter shop for years believing it was the only one in town. We try to get our scooters to the Solano in St. Augustine as they are a bit better. Two different scooters over the years, weve learned their process. Drop it off, they say they will call you, you hear nothing so you call them a few days later. Then they get angry and tell you theyve got all this work to do and they cannot get to your bike for a week or two. By the time you figure this out, a whole week has passed and you still dont know what the problem is. If you pretend that you may buy a new scooter, you will probably get better repair service. Last time we went, they said the Scooter had an engine problem and was probably done, nothing they could do unless we wanted to fork over big bucks. This scooter didnt have that many miles on it and was relatively in good shape. We were ready to give it away for salvage when a knowledgeable mechanic told us it was the fuel pump. Go figure its been sitting in a garage for a good six months with us believing it was a goner.

I own a 2013, Kymco Agility 50cc. The flip up second seat allows you to make very useful the metal luggage rack. I places 2 foot by 1 foot plywood and a 14 gallon plastic cement mixing tray on it. Added winged rails and two Colors of paint to the plywood. Used brass nails. Recommend focusing on luggage upgradable usage, so if not a fold up seat, jump to the Kymco Like 200. Or one of the other Brands sold at Solano. My 50cc 2013, broke down and had to have the cylinder amd housing replaced at about 10,000 miles. This is not uncommon to rebuild at this magical 15,000KM distance, even if not a majority is not uncommon. ~ i am told it is because of doing 43MPH all the time. Those who do governed 35MPH on 50cc do not have this break down and replace issue. Less than 1/3 the price of a 155cc Yamaha S-Max. So still a good value. Kymco Like 200, if buying any new model, would be a smarter choice. I just got a 1 owner 50cc from them at a fair market value.

purchased my first scooter here and had a generally good experience. sales wasnt impressive, but not terrible. i had a general idea of what i wanted and she was able to assist accordingly. most of my questions were answered satisfactorily. since, ive had to bring in the scooter for repair or maintenance a few times. the first, a faulty gas cap, they took care of at no cost to me. other instances were unrelated to craftsmanship. the service technician has been amazing, going into great detail before any work and answering ALL my questions in full. i would not hesitate to purchase here again or recommend another. i would say do your own homework and have a firm idea of what you are looking for in a scooter. while the salesperson was not as knowledgeable as id like, they were competent enough and not pushy. but then id much prefer less pushy at the expense of doing my own homework. others mileage may vary.

Absolutely amazing service today! I went in and they had exactly what my husband and I wanted and their prices are right on point! I dont usually write a review unless I am upset with something but the knowledgeable and courteous staff compelled me to share my experience! Dont base your opinions on one or two bad experiences because we have been to more than 5 other stores and the people there were either completely rude or had no idea what they were doing. Kindness goes a long way people! Treat others how you wish to be treated instead of acting like a spoiled and selfish individual which we had to witness in the store today by another person making a purchase but the manager handled the situation with calm collectiveness that only comes from knowing how to treat a customer!

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!! Dont believe the 5 star ratings on here!! They give you free stuff if you do.. so most of the reviews are BS!!! They dont even deserve 1 star! I bought a 2016 kymco scooter brand new! Within 2 days it had problems starting. Then the speedometer and Odometer stopped working. My scooter has been in the shop for 2 weeks now. No one has called me to inform me whats going on... nor do I even want the thing anymore because its already breaking down?? Now they are telling me to sell it after they fix it... so I am going to have to disclose that the odometer broke for approx 150 miles... great so my money is wasted!!! I have never been this pissed!!

AWEFUL! I walk in to get a 50cc oil change done on my scooter. I ask how much? The guy looks around and says $65.00. I chuckled because I though he was joking. Asked are you serious 2 more times and he said yeah the oil and 30 minutes of labor. In perspective, I go to Lexus to get my car serviced for $80. My jaw is still on the ground with your pricing. Almost had a repeat customer but I will stay FARRR from you guys! I leave and go to the scooter shop and they Carl says $18 bucks! Solano Cycle are here to hose you. I recommend you go somewhere else!

This place is an utter joke for a "scooter shop". Counter person has absolutely no technical or sales skill. Managed to alienate a customer that could potentially spend thousands there. Service tech is a clueless high school drop out. Avoid this place... hack central. To update, these idiots completely seized up an engine on my wifes scooter. Then when they realized who my wife was then they copped an attitude & pushed the scooter out to the parking lot & threw the removed panels in a box. They told her to "GET LOST".

This place is TERRIBLE!!! If I could give a negative rating, I would! The service here is AWFUL! Do NOT take your scooter here to get maintenanced. Youll drop it off and NEVER get it back! I called to check the status of my repairs and they had yet to start working on it...seriously?! I have to call you to see if youre doing your job?! I am not your momma! Get it done!!! I didnt even get an apology for their lack of effort on their part! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!!!!!!!!!!

Charmaine was FANTASTIC with educating me on each different bike and did not pressure me towards a sale and was very accommodating with what I wanted/Needed. Don and DeAndre were fantastic and perfectionist with helping me derestrict the bike to make sure I got the best performance . I will deffitenly be buy a bike for my wife here and recommend to everyone

They will keep your scooter forever just to fix the most simple thing. They only have one mechanic and he has to stop working to do other stuff and then get back to fixing scooters. Customer service does not update you or let you know how the progress is going. They also will not let you speak to the mechanic so he can tell you whats going on.

Worst service Ive experienced from anyone outside of Comcast. A couple years I brought in a scooter for what I was told would be a quick repair - a month later and its not fixed, and they jury rig a welding they couldve done weeks ago. I complain. No f---s given "you could go elsewhere" is a paraphrase of their response.
