Attended the store on vacation from the UK. I bought there BILT range winter textile lined trousers after the staff recommended it. Once back in the UK only 5 days later I put on the trousers to hear a ripping sound. The inner lining had ripped from its seem about 5 inches long where it attaches to the zip. I was not impressed. I emailed the customer support centre as the BILT products come with a 5 year guarantee. I was told because Im an international buyer I would have to pay for shipping back to the US and the once the warrant claim is finished pay for shipping back to the UK. It was explained that these shipping costs would cost more than the item purchased. Still no assistance and told if I want to carry out the warranty claim I would have to have them shipped out. I asked for contact details of a manager or higher placed staff member. This did not happen. I have sent 2 emails to the CEO Dave BERTRAM with my complaints still no reply. I read some good reviews before attending the store. However afterwards I have found many bad ones regarding the quality if their BILT range and that staff put pressure on customers to buy this inferior brand. Seems that once they have your money they offer no customer after care. Even though I was on vacation I will not be going back to this company. Seems they dont live upto their returns policy on their website.

If I could rate zero stars I would...Selection is nice, prices are fair but what I could not get over was the way the associates hounded me as if I were up to no good. Granted Im a bearded guy with tattoos, but that alone shouldnt be reason enough to discriminate against me. I have never stolen anything in my life, in fact Ive worked in retail for over five years as Loss Prevention and Asset Protection and the type and amount of "customer service" 3 of your associates approached me with was unnapealing and made me want to leave the place without making a purchase. At the moment I needed a helmet which was not in stock and one of the associates said he was having it transfered for me and giving me a call once it arrived, I left my name and number and never received notification. Ill stick to buying my gear online instead of having to deal with these prejudist profilers...If you have any dignity Id suggest you do the same.

The sales associates at Cycle Gear are knowledgeable, friendly, and treat you with a respect that is getting harder and harder to come by these days. I went in to look at helmets, as a new rider I had never gone through the process before. Without needing to ask, one of their salesmen casually asked if I needed assistance. He proceeded to guide me through trying on a helmet from all the manufacturers, Shoei, KBC, Arai, etc. After about 20 minutes I finally settled on the best fitting, most comfortable helmet that I never would have found without the right help. If youre looking for a place where the employees will help you get the right gear, no matter how long it may take, this is it. The prices are quite competitive to boot.

Terrible customer service and not a very bright staff. I need a clutch cable and they told me they didnt have it in stock since he said it off the top of his head i figured id check sure enough they had it and when i took it to the counter the guy then tried to tell me it wasnt the one for my bike. He offered to order it for me for 19.99 plus freight which it would cost me 30+, if he was smart he would of just said its gonna cost you 30$ to get it here. I ended up leaving, Driving the rest of the way home with no clutch and buying it online. They are my last resort place to go for anything. Probably wont be in there for many months.

Great shop, I started out not knowing anything about motorcycles, got my license and headed over there because I heard about it from my friend. Needless to say I go there everyweek and the employees know me by name now. I get all of my motorcycle gear there and if they dont have it theyll order it for you and call you when it arrives. They also have hook ups and discounts they will tell you about. Bought my first jacket: Dainese Laguna Seca and Helmet: KBC VR-2 from there. As well as oil, chain cleaner, lube, visor, and I am coming back for more!

Place looks like a bomb went off inside. Never looked this bad. Even the bathrooms need to be cleaned every time I go in. Ive shopped here for a while because of the people. But things have gone down hill fast. There are only a few good people left. The store manager seems very disorganized and always frantic. I only shop there for name brands NOT house brands. Tried some of the house brands and the quality is very low so I will stick to the name brands that are still available.

Cycle Gear is THE place to go if you are looking for motorcycle/scooter/dirtbike gear at a reasonable price. They have a good selection, great service, and are very low pressure. I have been in two times this week to get helmets, gloves, and rain gear for my scooter. We dealt with different employees each time, but each experience was very positive, and their prices were way lower than I expected. Good price and good service are an elusive combination, but Cycle Gear delivers.

I usually go to Revzilla but wanted to start supporting some brick and mortar stores now that I see theres one near me. For stuff that you need to try on, this place is pretty good and has a great selection, especially when it comes to track gear. Ive had good luck with the guys on the floor too, and there always seems to be someone around if you need help. Frank is always handy with a recommendation that makes sense, so a lunchtime trip here is usually successful.

I went in looking to drop some big money on a helmet, Jacket, AND boots...and left with nothing. There was a few workers there but no one looked at me in acknowledgment...no greeting. I let that slide as I went to check out the boots and the selection was poor... The helmets were next...the selection being right next to the register...still no one asked if I needed help. Ill spend my money elsewhere

You can not beat there prices, and if you find it online cheaper, they will always match the price. The staff is very knowledgeable, and knows their products. The have the best return policy I know. I bought a pair of race gloves and when the stitching on the seam came off after the second use, they replaced them for free. I would highly recommend them for all of your motorcycle needs.
