Seminole Harley Davidson; good place to buy and/or service a "bike". We chose this particular dealership (after being pre-approved for the financing at our own bank) to purchase our Harley Davidson 2013 Street Glide for the following reasons: ★From the salesman to the service department to the retail sales staff (who I liked the best) were better, more knowledgeable and friendlier than their counterparts at the other dealerships we visited. ★Everyone we met was honest and wanted to make sure we were satisfied with their service and efforts in getting and get us exactly what we wanted. ★It is a very kid-friendly place! I am more than impressed with how they treat children. Our 9y/o boy makes a good amount of effort toward being respectful and well behaved (most of the time) :oD but even he gets bored waiting around for us to conduct our business. One of the retail sales associates, .took the time to treat him as she would any adult customer. Because of her personality and attitude; she gained my respect, made a sale (while gaving me a very good deal on his sunglasses) and and a new friend in him! ☆Things I didnt care for: the cost of the 1st service (1000 miles) which I felt should be either in the purchase price or free from the dealership itself who made a good deal of money when we bought our motorcycle.. ☆Also, along with the availability of the "extended service/warranty" its potential value in saved$ should have been explained in more than a cursory fashion. especially .that one type of policy available covers all scheduled maintenance/service with a small copay on our part. The difference is $384.00 vs. $40-$50. Now the dealership does give give you an $100 off your 1st service but the price is (by comparison worthwhile closest 2 dealerships) about that much more so it does seems to be a "win-win" for them. My itemized bill is as follows: "IK SERVICE W/STD. FLUIDS (aka 1000 mile oil change and check) 1) 1x Retaining gasket: (part) @ 1.02 hours ($ labor rate per hour for this particular svc) .2) 1x gasket svc kit, 1k 5 @ 5.02 3) 3x "Service Formula+" @8.95 4) 4X Serv H-D 20W50, 1-QT @7.49 5) 1x Oil Filter, Chrome Superp @13.95 6) Work Description: 1K SERVICE W/STD FLUIDS (3hours @$89.00) The total for that (oil.w/filter change -using synthetic oil -which is recommended by Harley + check for any metal in oil/fluids, cleaning bike back up and a test drive)

DO NOT bring your bike here for service. 1st bad experience they could not diagnose my bike and recommended I buy a new ECU ($225). I brought it to Kissimme and before I had even driven 5 miles down the highway they called me and said it was the stator coil, fixed it and only charged me for the part. Seminole charged me for the "diagnosis" or lack there of at Harleys $89/hr rate (1.5 hrs). Next run in I brought my bike for collision repair. On my first ride after getting it the battery melted due to a loose connection, starting the wiring on fire, stranding me and my girlfriend on the highway in about 95 degree Florida heat. They were great about picking it up to fix it "again". I brought it in 2000 miles later and they replaced the fuel pump but noticed all of the wiring was "wrong, likely causing the issue with the pump and that the "wrong" battery was in the bike. They were the last to work on it, odd? I drove the bike and made it 4 miles onto 417 until it broke down again. It is now blowing the ignition fuse. They replaced the ignition when they replaced the fuel pump but say the fuse isnt related to their work, and do not want to fix it without more $$ to rewire it. ** UPDATE** They rewired the bike. Admitted there was no "maxi fuse" to begin with, but did not refund me any money for the $1200 plus I had to sink into it for their errors. Also they apologized by saying NEVER come back again. Ez enough. Selling it.

In the beginning it was so so and now I get phone calls to buy another Harley and get seriously insulted by the salesperson for a motor cycle I paid close to 40 K a bit over a year ago. He offered me 26,000 for me to trade my trike for a new one. I told him never to ever call me again with that type of an insult. I will probably never deal with them again as their bull in the beginning was how well they hold their value and this is my second trike. Just what kind of people are they as Harley seems to of become about as shameful as can be selling Clothes made in China and God knows what else kind of crap they push on you. I decided to have my stuff hand crafted by an American. Seminole Harley can kiss my grits for all I care. How dare you all insult me with that kind of an offer. Shame on you and my bike only has 7 thousand miles on it with 4 year extended warranty. Shameful I say Shameful.... Today I had been in contact with GoPro on a return ticket due to problems with my GoPro Camera Black. I spoke with them and they asked me to contact Seminole Harley which I did and they said for me to get my camera and drive to them and it would be replaced there. Well guess what... When I arrived and spoke with the guy handling the returns he replied back I do not know who told you that so headed back to Ormond Beach, Fl with the attempt to get an RMA to send this piece of GoPro crap back. Now after 6 phone calls and mostly wasted day dealing with these two ^(*&%(& I am now waiting for an RMA and highly suggest that you do not deal with Seminole Harley and speak to someone with respect which from all of those people there. I have spoken to many and no one gained my respect for them. I also spent several extra hours getting my bike serviced there and after it was all done they wanted me to pay an extra 550 dollars even though I had already paid a 3500 dollar repair and service policy with them so again had wait longer for someone to come up with the right information and after a long wait finally. No apology no response but ohhhhh Dahhhh we found it and here is your receipt. What a waste of time they are and my dealings with them are over.
