VERY DISSATISFIED. I paid $40 up-front for "rush service" because of a web browser-hijacking malware that Windows Defender couldnt remove. 3 hours later, tech called w recommendation to reformat hard drive, reinstall OS (Win 10), install/scan w Kaspersky Antivrus, for $149. Not having any choice at that point, I gave verbal permission over the phone. Tech told me the machine would be ready next AM, 1st thing. It was 2 PM the following day before the tech called to say my computer was ready. When I went to get it, they had reinstalled Win7 OS, not Win10, because they "thought thats what you wanted..." to make matters worse, I couldnt find any of my data and documents on the machine. A call to the original tech was not helpful, but they promised to reload Win 10, and reassured me that they had my data "...somewhere..." The following day at 1 PM the tech called to reassure me that all the data files HAD been saved, just under a different user ID, and to re-confirm that I wanted Win10 on the machine. He then promised that the machine would be ready "in about 2 hours". Three hours later, when I called to see what was going on, the original clerk disputed that I had told them to restore Win10. From the discussion, it was clear NOTHING had been done since my 2nd visit to CSI. After being told for the 3rd time to restore Win10, they promised that it would only be a couple of hours, and my machine would be ready. One minute AFTER their closing time, I was called and told the machine would be available for pickup when they opened at 10 the next day. When I could finally get back the next day (day 4 of this drama of "rush service"), the clerk tried to tell me that I had 10 user profiles on the machine (funny, only the 4 originally configured ever showed up) as the reason for difficulty retrieving my data files. But the crowning dissatisfier after all this was the final bill of > $200! It seems that the original tech "forgot" to inform me that the license for Kaspersky wasnt included in the revised quote when I authorized the machine clean/OS reinstall...and that the price for a single machine, 1 year license was $50 + tax. (Same program avail from multiple vendors for 1 or 3 machine license: $17-$27). So, if you have no choice, use CSI, but BUYER BEWARE: you may be lied to, treated like a technological Luddite (I had maintained my own Small Business Server and network for 3 years, and was only using CSI because I did not have the time to do this job myself. They just assume everyone older than GenX is technologically-impaired because of being born w/o a Nintendo controller in our hands), have charges omitted, and be outrageously overcharged. As for me using CSI? NEVER AGAIN!

About four months ago I dropped my laptop with the headphone jack in it which impaled and broke my internal audio card. So I took it to them for a free estimate and they said it would cost about $300 to repair. So when I went to pick it up they showed me an external audio card that would connect through my USB port for $26. So I bought it and within two days that card broke off while gently pulling it out of my laptop. So I took it back to the store and the guy behind the desk said we usually dont take returns for items that are this broken (even though I was very gentle with the card but if you Google this card you will realize it has horrible reviews and many people have had the same problem with it (Not to mention they were charging almost THREE times the price that you can get on Amazon)) but I will do it this one time. So I used it for the next three months until my headphones were caught on the bottom wheel of my bedside table and when I picked my laptop up the wire that was trapped under the wheel caused the card to snap off while inside the USB port. So the following day I called around to see if someone else had a different card for a better price but I had no luck. So since it was Friday and if I ordered the card online the earliest I could get the card by was Monday I decided to just go here and pay the extra money for the same card. So I went in and spent the $26 on the card and as soon as I got home and plugged it in the audio was all distorted and you could barely make out anything. So I took it back to the store and told the manager I just bought it and showed him the item and receipt. Upon which he decided to pop open the plastic covering and declared the reason its not working is because that I broke it. So after repeating myself several times that I just bought this one less than 30 minutes ago he finally caved in and told the person behind the desk to just give me $26 in cash and told me to please never come back. The guy behind the desk has always been very friendly but the manager is incredibly rude. I HIGHLY do NOT recommend them.

CSI, was asked to help me get my existing simulator to hook up to the, on line, i racing game. They came by , picked up my computer , paid 150 for their time. On July 19th told me it would cost 3681 and I must pay now . I asked for a specific quote which he said he would e mail . I agreed since he accepted AMEX , which I believed would offer me the protection in case there was a problem. I got the e mail quote 2 days later, on the 21st . It only had 1000 dollars worth of equipment , therefore I called to see if there was more included. The owner was angry , yelling at me, for implying he was dishonest, and said to just come in and pick up my refund. When I did, the next day, he refused, saying I had stolen “proprietary” information. My intentions for the call were straight forward , given my request was for a simple on line game that requires a very basic computer, which I already had. In addition , him saying his quote proprietary is absurd. Apparently CSI was being extremely dishonest telling me I needed a 3600 computer , when the existing computer was perfect. After paying 3681.71 with AMEX, I have only seen the quote 2 days later, for the computer and wanted to understand the reasons for it being so high. I have received nothing in return. I have asked for nothing, and the owner knew from day one that I needed the quote before doing any work. No answers other than it being proprietary and, although I was asked to come in for the full refund, the owner then said no, offering a difficult to understand, completely absurd, reason that I used his proprietary information.

We at Russell Properties have used Nicholas owner at CSI for over 10 years. We are a growing property management company in Longwood, Fl. After 35 years in the same location we needed to moved to a bigger office. Because of distance logistics we hired a local IT company to do the big move for us...network, running data cables, moving computers, phones. printers, scanners, updating hard drives, downloading software, creating backups, WiFi, cameras, alarms, teleconferencing...a big upgrade. Well, the night before the big move, the owner of the local IT company unfortunately, had a heart attack while vacationing 1000 miles away and was in the hospital... After making sure he was OK and in good hands,...that emergency crews got him to him on time. We called SCI and Nicholas. Although very busy, he put a game-plan into place. Rearranged his prior appointment schedules and came out that afternoon. He had Spencer (his right hand man) work thru night to get us up and running...It was a huge feat. They assured me that they were not leaving until everything was working and tested. And that they did. That morning when everyone came to work...we were up as if nothing happened. Cant thank you and your company enough Nicholas, Spencer. You really didnt save the DAY...you saved the WHOLE MOVE! As, it would have been catastrophe, in a magnitude of great order. Thank you so much your excellent service. Rob Russell R. Russell Properties, Inc.
