This past sunday, June 14, I went here to get a tattoo done. My uncle drew up a design for me, but he passed away a few weeks ago. He FINISHED the design the night he passed. I show them the design. I told them my story, and how much it meant to me, and they said they COULD NOT do it. It was too busy for them, and not their style. One of the guys then proceeded to print off a design that they thought suited me better, and it was not what I wanted. They printed off a freaking statue of an angel holding a baby. And he said "oh we can just put black hair on it." The tat I wanted was of my grandfather holding a baby to represent all the babies I lost during pregnancy. I told the guy no, thats not what I want. He said that he couldnt help me. I left there in TEARS! This tattoo meant sooo much to me. I walked a few doors down, and found this awesome place and they were able to do my tattoo. My artist at Miami Tattoo Co was Amazing! Dont go to Miami ink or as they call themselves love hate tattoos. They let the TV show go to their head. They are overpriced, over rated, and poor customer service. I thought if anyone could do my tattoo, it would be them..I thought they were the best, but boy did they change my views of them!! So if you are looking for a good tattoo. Go to Miami Tattoo Co...Amor and JB is AMAZING! They really understood my needs!

Understand what Love Hate Tattoo Studio is: a shop specializing in template tattoos. No longer are they a custom shop that specializes in artistry. Thats ancient history now that Ami is focused on profits moreso than on brand. I went to find out if I could work with an artist that could draw a design with me for a photorealistic piece. Negative. They wouldnt do it. I *HAD* to bring in a printed picture. No vision of the artist, no conceptual changes, just print it, stencil it and tattoo it. I wouldnt say this place is overrated, because they probably do a great job tattooing template tattoos. But, if youre looking for a custom piece, they no longer have the talent. Instead, be prepared to spend a lot of money for a template tattoo that you can get from any shop for 1/2 the price. My expectations were high, and they significantly under impressed me. So, Im looking elsewhere for a true artist instead of an assembly line tattoo factory.

I went to Miami Ink about a year ago. Im from Europe so I made an appointment a couple of months before since I was only gonna be in Miami for a couple of days. I knew in advance what it was gonna cost so money never was an issue. Yes you pay more than at some other tattoo shops but you know that if you go to a shop like that that youll pay more. Once I got there I even got more than I expected. I had a picture with me of two roses and I ended up getting three roses for the amount of money I wanted to spend. The guys there are really nice and they try their best to work something out for you. My tattoo artist was Janos Masz. He was very nice and very professional. He really took his time and made me feel very comfortable. I can definitely recommend him. You can check out all of his work on Instagram if you dont want to take my word for it. My tattoo looks incredible and exceeded all my expectations! No regrets here!

Everyone was so professional and courteous helping me through my first tattoo experience. James Hamilton was my artist. We traveled to Miami just for him to do this tattoo and he did not disappoint. He guarantees his tattoos for life so its worth the initial expense. When making the initial appointment Danielle was prompt and courteous in her email responses. When the big day finally came, the shop assistant (very nice young man, sorry I forgot his name.) made sure we got the correct paperwork and introduced my friend and I to our artist. This guy never stopped moving. He was constantly cleaning, setting up artist stations for tattoos and answering phones. If and when you go, allow most of the day for this experience. It takes awhile to get going on the tattoo process but great tattoos are worth a little patience!!!!! So happy with this experience! Im hooked. Will definitely be back for future work.

Zero stars really!! Horrible! Had appointment and was seen 3.5 hours later, artist took my drawing that I created, did his own version which was nothing close to what I brought in, and I said I am not putting that on my body. The artist and other artist told me they would not do the work and the other Cross I wanted done, they said it wont look good and refused that as well. My total time spent in the shop was 6 hours. They offered to give me deposit back because their artists dont have the skill to copy what you bring in and want to tell you what will look good and dont care what you think. Total waste of time. Their TV show gives them exposure, however, they dont want to make customers happy. One idiot artist said what I wanted done was stupid!! They have no talent, only want quantity not quality/ Go somewhere else!!

Got my tattoo on the 12th of January 2011. Im very happy with it. Janos is a great artist and he works fast (Thank God) :) I think it is very important to book a time in advance and to realize that you also pay for the experience. You can get cheaper tattoos in other places, but I went to Love Hate because it is Love Hate, you know. I send the picture that I wanted by e-mail prior to my visit. I got an estimated price (roughly) and when I came to the shop, we discussed size. After that, it took maybe 15 minutes to draw it. Janos did a great job and it was a little bit cheaper than they estimated. So, I´m happy. Just make an appointment, so that you don´t have to wait or get unpleasant surprises! Elisabeth (Sweden)

Not sure what it used to be, but the artists there now are nothing but a bunch of hacks, and the store caters to cattle herding tourists in and out for small but expensive tattoos. I unfortunately got a piece done there and I regret the decision. I have many tattoos and the one there is just awful. I need to go back and have them fix it, but it will be difficult based on how I feel about the place. My experience there was less than pleasant as they tried to tell me what I wanted all because they dont want to put effort into things now. They want to take in the $200 min charge and not have to put skill into their work. The client facing customer service is awful. Go elsewhere for good work.

I walked in and asked if they could add to my new tat and immediately the guy behind the counter starts with "we dont fix other peoples work" rudely I might add. I was there to ADD to my tattoo NOT FIX IT!!! Then he tells me(with his UGLY attitude) you have to wait 2 weeks because you have a new tattoo. I walked out the door and into another tattoo shop and they were nice and informed me that YES I CAN ADD TO YOUR NEW TAT AND WE DONT HAVE TO WAIT FOR TWO WEEKS BECAUSE WE ARE NOT GOING OVER THE WORK THATS JUST BEEN DONE....So I now have what I wanted and found out that "Miami Ink" is NOT WHAT I WANTED....Thanks for nothing
