Dr. Sherman has been absolutely amazing over the last year and a half. He was able to properly diagnose my son and is highly skilled in his field. He is truly the BEST of the BEST at what he does. We live 15 min from the office, but I wouldve traveled to see him. My son completed a 9 month therapy program and although it was costly, it was well worth it. We have seen incredible gains and will be forever thankful for the services that the vision therapy team provided for my son. My son refused to ride a two-wheeler and within a few short weeks of vision therapy, he took his bike out from the garage, hopped on, and rode it down the driveway. Once his eyes starting working together, so much changed. Its unfortunate that most insurance companies do not cover this type of treatment, but hopefully down the line they will wake up and realize the importance of VT and how it can change lives for the better. Dr. Sherman has always explained things clearly to me when it came to what was going on with my sons eyes. He is fair, honest, and extremely talented in his field. I very highly recommend him!

Dr. Marc Sherman is a highly skilled Vision Specialist. He tested our son while he was in first grade, diagnosed his vision issues, explained why he couldnt learn to read, and sent us to the best Occupational Therapist Assistant ever. After a dozen or 14 sessions with the OTA, our son went from barely being able to identify the letters in the alphabet at the beginning of the school year to reading at the 4th grade level in April when he took standardized testing (in a private school). Without Dr. Shermans expert testing and evaluation, I shudder to think what would have happened to our son. Now he is in high school honors classes at Lake Brantley, in the finance magnet program, confident and very happy. I cant thank Dr. Sherman enough. He is a gift from God.

Rude over the phone when you are caught in traffic letting them know you are on the way. I was dependant on a car service. They threatened to cancel my sons appointment for being 3 minutes late. Also, I believe they are scam artisits. They only accept CMS for an initial consultation. After seeing the doctor for 5 minutes, they take you to a little corner and inform you that your child needs to be further tested, but youll have to pay $250 out of pocket. Had they told me honestly over the phone that any testing after the first visit would NOT be covered by my insurance plan, I would not have wasted my prescious time! They get 1 star because the doctor was friendly and his staff "in person" as well.

Everyone in the office was really nice. They are NOT upfront about what they are testing for and what it will entail if your child needs therapy. They wanted $100 a 30 minute group visit for therapy. What could they be possibly doing to earn that much? Id love to see a breakdown. Then they say well you can buy a computer program for $400 and do it at home and come in for a check up every 6 weeks. It did not feel good at all.

They have difficulty explaining insurance correctly. However, I carry my own papers on what my Benefits are. They said sorry. Lady in the front office was rude. However the doctor who is the lady is the best optometrist Ive ever met. They also have advance programs to help with children. The therapies for the vision therapy are extremely expensive.

Shady. Sketchy. They are not upfront with their fees. Save your $1000.00 "neuroprocessing evaluation" fees for another office. They are happy to take your money. They are not so happy to explain what your money actually went towards. They do bad business with no principles!

They overbook and make you wait for them for a ridiculous amount of time. This is my 3rd appointment, its 2:20 and my appointment was at 1:30. No explanation, no letting me know how long, just sitting in this crazy lobby overrun with kids.
