Recently I was looking for a gold chain to pair with a nice pendant and I did a Google search for jewelers. After reading the positive reviews, I decided to check out Vincents and I was more than happy with the results. Its not a mega store like Zales or Reeds. If youre looking for that, keep moving along folks, nothing to see here. I met David and Mark, a father and son team and that was the whole operation. They were both working the counter and made me feel comfortable and at ease as soon as I walked in. Lets admit that most of us dont make jewelry buys weekly or monthly and it can be a stressful buying experience for the inexperienced buyer and there are sharks in the water in many jewelry stores. Both David and his son are just good and decent guys and easy to talk with about much more than jewelry. I briefly explained that I was looking for a gold chain to pair with the pendant and David displayed some beautiful chains that were awesome. The quality was outstanding and the pricing was excellent, much better pricing for quality jewelry than you will find almost anywhere in the Bay area. The whole buying process from displaying the chains to selection took less than 5 minutes as one chain looked stunning with the pendant. The whole time we were yakking it up for another 25 minutes and talking about life, personal challenges, family and sports and just discussing the human experience. David and Mark are real people and local merchants, not your average huge mega-store, monolith, commission driven sales types that make you want to run away. If you like dealing with and supporting good people who are local merchants and members of the community then I strongly recommend you make your next jewelry buying trip to Vincents. Youll be glad that you did. And a personal message to David and Mark. My girlfriend absolutely loved her gift. Its been a rough year and the joy that it brought to her face and her heart was priceless. Thanks again.

My wife-to-be and I went to Vincents to get two wedding bands on the fly for our short-notice wedding. We were more than delighted with our experience. We will be coming back here for all of our jewelry needs as long as this place exists. First off, it is a father-son operation and both gentlemen are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and willing to go the extra mile for their customers. From the moment we walked in we were treated with genuine friendliness and personal attentiveness. Without pressuring us to buy anything, and with full knowledge that we were on a budget, they showed us a variety of options and took the time to explain different metals, weights, etc. Both David and Mark were very easy-going yet seemed like they knew their business inside and out. After looking through many different options we eventually settled on a matching three-ring wedding set (two bands plus a bonus engagement ring) for a very reasonable price. The rings had to be sized, however, and our short-notice wedding was only three days away. Not a big deal for these guys! It was done later on that day (and with a laser to boot, so the rings were unblemished) and I picked them up the next morning. Mark even gave me a courtesy call at 7 PM, which is after the store is closed, to tell me that he managed to get it done for us already and that they were able to be picked up the following morning. I wouldnt waste my time going anywhere else if you are looking for a great experience buying jewelry. This is my first Google review: I created a Google+ account just to write a review for this place because David and Mark truly deserve a thank-you for such outstanding service. I have come back there several times over the past year. I wanted to come back here to say that my first review was not a one time thing. I usually deal in gold with them but they have even helped me plan a few jewelery designs for the future as well. And some things that they werent interested in taking for pawn, they advised me on good alternatives- which is cool. No problem. One time I called the shop outside business hours and the owner drove down to the shop to meet me to do business. I dont expect them to do that all the time but I was short on cash and he was sympathetic. I dont care what anyone says- thats a RARE kind of business these days. Also, when I had questions, the owner and his son were more than happy to show me the tools they use, how they would make certain custom jewelery and how they grade certain jewelery.

Barely looked at some of my items and said they were fakes. I talked on the phone to the older gentleman and asked if they purchased older watches and he stated they purchased about everything-saw the younger man and he said that a platinum diamond watch would not sell-first time I saw him he said ALL spinel was synthetic and then the second time I went in I showed him a pair of earrings, he held it up and looked at it for about 6 seconds and said they were synthetic spinels. If he thought all spinels are synthetic which they are not, seems strange that they would make a synthetic for something already synthetic. Wont be going back, Ripped me off for the platinum diamond watch and only gave me 400 for it.

What a wonderful family business. I had only one small piece of jewelry and was treated with so much care and respect. I had always felt intimidated and clueless when selling or buying jewelry but the owner took the time to explain the entire process. I had sold gold when the market prices were higher and I did not make as much as I did with West Bay. Obviously, their overhead is less and they are honest which means more in your pocket. The pieces to sell were beautiful and worth stopping in for that special someone or treat yourself! I highly recommend doing your business with this kind, caring family.

Went and saw David on Friday 18th March, he walked me through the whole process of selling gold and jewelry and the different sights for gold prices he uses. I had worked out a sort of figure that I was expecting based on gram weight, Spot gold figure and formula etc but does not take in account small profit margin on his part. I was very satisfied with the deal we made, nice man good service and will definitely use him again. By the way he has a sight on EBay! check it out! Thanks David.

I sold my necklace and some other jewelry and coins I had to David Joseph at Vincents and i couldnt be happier with what I got for my jewelry. David was very fair and honest with me, prior going to Vincents I had gone to 3 other places that claimed to pay the most for gold and silver but not one of them came close to what David Joseph gave me for my jewelry. I highly recommend anyone whom is considering selling ther jewelry to go see David and his son they are very fair and very honest.

Very Impressive! Highly recommended. This place is excellent, not only in terms of how they paid me with my scrap gold with a fair and good price, but the way Dave (the owner) treated like a VIP! He personally appraised and explained how much my gold would sell, and I believe he didnt ripped me off since he got the best offer compared to the gold buyers Ive visited before Vincents. Overall, I would certainly do business with Dave again, in the near future or soon.
