I went there to have a key made for my Harley Davidson motorcycle they screwed up my original key, try to make a new key gave me the key after they took it off the grinder and it burned my fingertips, the employer laughed and said thats what happens when you grind the key, when I went to put my key in the ignition it would no longer work, it would not even fit in the ignition now, I told the manager about it and he acted like he wanted nothing to do with me, I have reported this to corporate headquarters, do not go to Ace Hardware on Lantana. I will keep you posted to see how the matter is resolved from corporate headquarters. Please call them and mention my comments hopefully they will get the message. Now I have to get a brand new ignition. The problem is that Harley-Davidson stop making the product for this year, its a 1993 Harley Davidson Sportster 1200. Any suggestions. I have been shopping at Ace Hardware since I was a child. They have great sales, special promotions,din they give special discount cards for customers who is on their mailing list for their birthday. Ace has items that Home Depot and Lowes do not have. They do an excellent job on repairing screens. Prices are reasonable but some items seems to be much higher than other other hardware stores. Staff are friendly and very helpful in helping customers locate ideas. Provides excellent consultant information regarding home improvement projects. Love them

This is your actual neighborhood hardware store. Staff is always great. Customers chat with each other. Very knowledgeable to help make sure you get just the right product. One occasion I needed to sand a dresser and learned far more about grit than I ever expected to know. I left with the right paper for the job though!

These guys are knowledgeable and friendly. They have what you need in stock almost without fail. They help you quickly. Someone else posted about having trouble with a key being made there. I also had a similar issue but they owned the mistake and made it right.
