As another poster mentioned, you are greeted at the door. Everyone "wants" to help, but none of them know a thing about anything. In addition, dont try to take anything back there. While they claim to "gladly take returns" in a recent visit I got greeted by the cashier with "I hate returns." Then, the general manager, Mark Evans, wouldnt take the return because I didnt have the card with me that the purchase was made, and he wouldnt issue a store credit. Mind you, their return policy mentions NOTHING about having the original card (I had the receipt and the goods were in original condition and wrapping), AND their system has the credit card number!!!! Mark Evans became completely obnoxious and unprofessional. Ive NEVER been treated so poorly at a place of business, and am writing Aces cooperative office to report Mr. Evans. Ill never step foot in the store again, and if I was you, Id spend my time and money elsewhere!

I have to disagree with the post below. I’ve been shopping at this Ace Hardware store since December and I’ve never encountered negative employees or received mis-tinted paint (I only got paint twice). Right when I walk in a cashier greets me and by the time I walk past the boat/office/paint area, another employee asks if I need help. The people here are very friendly. The last time I was in this Ace, they didnt have want I was looking for, but they were able to get the item transferred up from one of their other locations. They had the item for me the next day!!

Even though it is not as close to my WILTON MANORS location , Ace beats its large , and overstocked ( with poor choices made by buyers) house depot type stores hands down. They have very helpful and knoledgable employees , who speak english as a first language ( IN SOFLO)! I always enjoy shopping there. Really great selection of hardware , employees that ask if you need help as oposed to the large places where the employees try to act like they dont see you. There is hope for those of us who prefer quality to quantity.

I went to return a 5$ bottle of car scratch remover that I purchased for repairing some scratches on my sunglasses. An employee who wasnt even assisting me felt the need to tell me that it wasnt their fault that I didnt use it on a car and gave me attitude for returning it. This is ridiculous. Its nobodys fault. I was just returning the product because I had no use for it. The man acted like he was personally insulted. It was unprofessional and rude.

I have been using this Ace for my household needs for the past 4 years and they always exceed my expectations. Consistently courteous, helpful and knowledgeable in all areas of the home. If they do not have an answer, they ask an associate you does have the answer. They have unique items you wont find other places. When I have a question I go direct to this store and know I will get a good product and installation directions , if needed.

There is faith in humanity of south FL because of this store. Im originally from Ma and this store and the people in it made me feel like home. 100% there for the costumers. We were getting set screws for a bike exhaust total came out under $3 which was under the limit for a card, one of the employees offered us the money. We ended up just buying something else but people that nice and sincere are un herd of down here. Well done!!

The Big Black Fat Lady at the register spoke to me in a most derogatory and insulting manner with SIR, SIR,SIR,!!!!!. I was trying to direct her attention on the computer to a sale item they insisted was not there. Lost my business. Last time I was in the store, I dropped $686.19. Big, huge loss. I will direct all my employees to not do company business there and encourage them not to shop there personally.

They have a lot of things in here, everything from carpenter tools and from plumbing tools are here and they also have appliances in here.
