OMG this is the WORST Home Depot in the state (and Ive been to a lot!) Never any help available, when you CAN get someone they are rude, ignorant, or possibly both. - todays experience, only the most recent bad experience there, despite trying to avoid them, was a trip to the store to buy a new Nest thermostat for our house. We have been shopping for one for a couple of months, they are available on ebay all the time brand new, factory sealed, for $50 to $75 less then the retail price at Home Depot.. But our contractor is ready to put it in, so rather than dealing with eBay we decided to just buy one off the shelf. What a mistake that was! They are not on the shelf, only an empty display on the shelf. Asked for assistance from a rude man who promised to get one out of the back for us, but then apparently got abducted by aliens because he never came back. I walked up to the customer service desk, leaving someone standing at the display on the aisle in case the rude guy ever came back, and asked the lady at customer service to send someone over. That never happened. Finally, now 30 minutes or so into the ordeal, she offers to just go get one for me. Then she proceeds to disappear for another 10 minutes or so. My friend who was standing guard at the aisle display happened to see her casually wandering about with it in her hands talking to coworkers.. She finally brought it to the front counter for me. I wanted to speak to a store manager, but he was involved with another extremely irate customer at the service desk whos special order has been screwed up by Home Depot. I waited and waited and waited, finally asked for the assistant store manager, who also conveniently never answered the phone page from customer service. Finally after nearly an hour of trying desperately to spend $300 in Home Depot, I gave in and just checked out and got the heck out of there. I should have avoided the whole train wreck disaster, ordered it on ebay 2 weeks ago, saved $75 and several hours worth of my time. Next time I will. This is not the first incident at this home depot, rather a consistent pattern over the last 8 years Ive lived here. It amazes me that in this economy people search and search for months or even a year for a job, The Home Depot continues to employ lazy losers like the ones that staff this particular store. STAY AWAY. Go to Lowes...or buy online

Horrible experience. I went to get a copy of my house keys and when I came back home. Neither the copy or the original key worked. The people next to me probably got my house keys (how is this acceptable?). I went back to the store to see if someone returned keys and the lady that made the copies did not remember me and the manager was just rude. First she came to me and just said hey what happened. She never cared about the situation caused by her store. I was Locked out of my house and then she said hopefully they do not know where you live. When you mess someone day like this I would have expected a way better treatment. I was never rude and I left in shocked that this happened and how it was handled. I am very disappointed. They never got my phone number to let me know if someone return my keys. They made me feel like I did something wrong. At the end at least she said she was sorry for the inconvenience.

Lazy rude employees. You ask them a question and they get upset. The three black ladies in the back in the appliance dept , pls stop talking personal stuff and start dong your job. It has been 3 times that I see them like if they were in a party or a park. The one to blame for this happening is management. They are never around and they hide in the office. Waited for supervisor almost 25 minutes. This is outrageous. Even the girl at customer service said so. What a pity but this has been going on for awhile. The other stores like in Hollywood and Oakland are so different. Lately, I am visiting Ace. There are options out there. We are not in China. Every day this situation is getting worse. I am sure I am not the only one upset with this situation. I have spoken to couple of people and they say the same

Some largely overweight dark skinned "manager" with horrendous purple lipstick interrupted my transaction as Im checking out to pull the cashier aside. (And Im already in a huge hurry.) tells the cashier its suspicious that Im buying 12 boxes of led eco friendly lights. (Im replacing all my bosses lights in his house.) so of course Im using my bosses credit card for this and they wont let me use it. Now Ive been buying things here for years on the credit card and now is the first time and its suddenly a huge issue. She looks at me like Im an idiot and is sarcastically telling me she will be sure to tell her co workers they havent been doing their jobs right for years. Im Sorry for your miserable life lady.

The store is chaotic. Parked cars and trucks line the front of the store making it difficult for pedestrians and traffic to navigate safely. Other cars roam the ground floor parking lot or park in the middle of the lanes waiting for a spot. Aggressive panhandlers offer to help load your purchases. The aisles are mostly clean and organized. But there are frequent out of stocks of popular items. The infrastructure or the staff just can’t keep up with the volume. Do yourself a favor and go to the Home Depot in Hollywood or Oakland Park. It might be a bit further but you’ll be out quicker and there will be less wear and tear on your nerves.

I stopped in today to get replacement clips for vertical blinds. After searching for help for a while (bear in mind it is a slow Wednesday), I found someone that would page me someone else to help me. A person that spent some time avoiding me was paged and came over to help. I was told that what they have would not work for me, but I could go down the street, two blocks, to Insight for the Blind and they would have what I need. Insight for the Blind is an institution that helps the blind. Not blinds as in venetian and vertical. The blind, as in blind people. Really. Thanks Home Depot. You are very consistent at being terrible.

I delivered 1 pc for chandler at the receiving dock.. Ricardo was the receiver at the dock. This person is a very rude person!! I do not know or wonder why Home Depot has a person on the dock with this kind of rudeness.. Ricardo and his friend said that President Trump should be drowned, down in Houston Texas. Both of them was not joking about anything.. I told him when I left that I am not coming back here again. He said to me (everybody) tells me that.. Ive been doing this kind of business with people for 39 years.. Ricardo has no excuse to treat people in this matter..

Apparently the Sunday crew on March 29th, 2015 decides when their store hours are as they please and do not have follow those that are advertised. Who cares if the 8+ people on the other side of the glass door who drove 10-20 minutes to get there there solely because they looked up store hours and could make the closing time of 8PM with 15 minutes to spare. Not this staff apparently. 745PM somehow to them is equal to 8PM. No respect for the customer. No respect for their commitment of store hours. No consideration in the employees of that night other than their own.
