I had a laptop that wouldnt boot up after a kitten on the keys incident, took it to BestBuy where I got a run around for several stressful days - calls promised and never made - etc. Was told I needed a new hard drive which I would have to order myself, lots of expensive new software and on and on. I knew something was wrong and said just give me my computer back you lying idiots, and I took the computer to the first place I saw, which was Data Doctors. I put the computer on the counter and they kindly plugged it in for me and it fired right up and has had no booting up problems since. BestBuy was just trying to sell me a new computer and lots of fancy software. Data Doctors was gentle and kind to a panicked person who needed her business laptop running FAST! I got a smile and a "no charge" and I do believe the place is magic. I have a few small troubles now with some links not working exactly right, and I was just looking up the phone number to go back to Data Doctors when I saw these reviews and thought Id say that Id be surprised if these folks really tried to rip somebody off. They could have told me anything....

They tried to rip me off!!!! I went in because my laptop wouldnt go onto the internet. Im not very computer savy and got frustrated trying to figure out why I couldnt get on internet. I dropped it off and paid $69 just to analyze it. They called me the next day and said it would be $270 to fix it. I said cant you just uninstall all antivirus programs that are blocking my firewall and put in AVG antivirus. He just said no it is $270 to fix it. So I left with my laptop and went home and looked further into it myself. I went to my computer, clicked internet and then clicked fix problems and low and behold I GOT INTERNET!!! So I uninstalled all other antivirus programs and put AVG in and it works perfectly. I dont understand why he just didnt help me do this. I already pd $69 for nothing. NOT HELPFUL AT ALL!!!

Took a crashed hard drive in for data recovery. The clerk found the problem was the caddy not the drive itself, got a new caddy and put the drive into it for me. Charged me for the caddy but nothing else, and I was on my way in 10 minutes. If he told me it was something more serious, I would have paid $300 just to get my files back and been none the wiser, but he did the right thing.

great team at data doctors. no one tried to push any real expensive systems on a computer illiterate like me. just the opposite. set me up with a low end system that plays video games just fine. saved me from spending hundreds more on buying a rig that would be way more than needed. plus this system can be upgraded if needed.and comes with a full 3 yr warranty!.

Data Doctors in Indian Harbour Beach is a great place to bring your computer when you have problems. They are really good at what they do and pretty fast too. I strongly recommend them to anyone that needs to get their computers working again.
