ROB...I UPDATED MY POST BELOW. PLEASE READ. I broke my iphone 5c screen on the way to vacation FL. Had no idea who to go to in Ft. Myers area. Used phone book and went to Rob. He put in a screen for $95. I was temporarily happy because on the way home it became evident that the screen had a large smudge on the inside surface, a smudge covering 2/3 of my screen. I contacted him and he said to send it back. I explained to him that two dealers up here said the smudge was in the inside and I told him that when I would polish it, it appeared to have gone away. Well, I sent it to him. Including mail time, it was gone 8 days and he emailed me to tell me that it was all "polished and fixed." Right away, I knew that it was not fixed. Sure enough, he sent dmy phone and smudge is still there as clear as before. I cant believe that the screens are so expensive that he couldnt have put a new one in and I asked him that. He did not answer. I am totally dissatisfied with the end result. I guess he doesnt have to worry about me since I live far away from FL, but I certainly would never recommend him! No. 1 - I wear no makeup. No. 2 - Professionals up here say the smudge is on the inside. No. 3 - The smudge has on one side a perfectly straight line from top to bottom. You should have replaced the screen. That would have been the right thing to do. Rob...after reading your last post and thinking upon it, Im wondering if we are talking about two different things. I think you are talking about the smudges made by my fingers while using the phone. I am talking about a smudge which looks almost like a scrape on the inside of the glass. It is noticeable in certain light. It becomes a pain when in brighter lights. I should have explained the "smudge" better. I did send photos, though, that show that smudge. It covers about 2/3 of my screen sort of on an angle and the left side of the smudge is a perfectly straight line. I apologize for "going off" on you because I think that you didnt even see what I was talking about. I will take it somewhere up here and see if they can remove the glass and clean the inside.

So I took my htc one in to have the glass and screen changed out. Which is simple to do and seems to be a common thing sense he had the parts in stock on hand and he said 1 hour. That is where the good ends. He was $25+ more than the guy right across the street from him but I have used him many, many, times so I said ok. I got my phone back 3 hours later after not being called to puck it up even after saying to please call. Upon picking it up the glass was "pregnant" I said something than and all I get was "its supposed to look like that" and I just didnt have the time to argue. Well the next morning the phones glass was lifting off so I went back to my spare until I could get back over there and when I did get back over there less than a week later he gobbed a bunch of glue on it and said"Im not going to warranty this its your fault" well glue wasnt the issue the new screen not being put in right was the issue and of course the glass cracked from the pressure of the screen pushing up on it so now Im back to square one just $106=tax less. Will anymore phones go his way thanks to me NO!!!!!!!!!!!!

I walked into Rob the phone doctor on a Thursday afternoon at about 5:50 with 2 EVO 3ds with shattered screens, and I do mean completely shattered! I didnt think they would be able to fix them that day b/c online it says they close at 6 but Robs assistant took our phones and told us to be back in one hour and when we got back in one hour our phones looked brand new. My phone has been shattered since earlier this year and I never thought it wouldve been this simple to have it fixed. I read the reviews here before I went to see them and I was a bit nervous because these reviews had me thinking he was going to be a total douche BUT I wanted to be sure to let everyone know that was not the case for me or any other customer I saw him deal with that day. He was a very very pleasant guy, he was really quick and even changed the color of my phone for me. I would recommend Rob to anyone experiencing any type of issues with their phone!

My phone died (charge port) and I went to two phone stores and one repair guy. All said my phone was dead and nothing could be done. One indicated soldering might help, but the nearest guy is in Miami. I went home, disgruntled, and did a search online. Robs info popped up and I gave him a call. He said YES, he solders and and repair or replace (either option well under $100). I went there today after work, dropped the phone off and came back a half hour later. My phone was charging, and he told me the only thing I needed was a cleaning in the port. He plugged it in and it worked! Man was I excited to hear that! I asked what my bill was, and he said, NO CHARGE! WHAT?!?!?! Who does that anymore! He cleaned my phone and charged it - for FREE! Thanks, Dr. Rob for your time and service! I will just avoid the hassle and come see you next time! I hope others will too! What a God-send! Service with integrity!

Can I give a 0/4? I BROUGHT my galaxy s4 , which I unfortunately dropped and cracked the screen, to Rob. The screen worked fine bc the digitizer was not damaged but I did not like the cracked look. Rob said he could not replace just the glass but the entire screen with digitizer because thats the way he does it. I agreed to the outrageous price of 275$$!!! 20 minutes later rob calls me over and tells me my phone will not work with his aftermarket screen and digitizer and that there is no way he can fix it. I said ok just put the old screen back on and ill just use that. Rob then tells me he broke my digitizer trying to take it off. So now im left with no phone!! Rob would not even trade out my phone to any used phone in his store!! He said he cannot sell a broken phone.. lol its the phone you made UNUSABLE!! He said its a risk I should have known.. Buyer beware!!! This guy is a joke

Great service and great guy. I recently spent some time in his shop waiting on my iPhone repair and I was so impressed with how he handles himself and his business. He gets all walks of life in that store (located across from Edison Mall and next to Seductions) and still manages to keep calm and collected. Rob is very knowledgable, efficient, fast and fair. With the exception of his staff, Rob is a one man show and I am proud to support a small local business. I am always satisfied with his service, he takes care of new and repeat customers and I wouldnt get my phone or tablet repaired anywhere else. I recommend Rob the Phone Doctor to all of my friends and customers. Plus if you take a minute to talk to him like a person and not a phone repair vending machine, youll find him to be a funny guy that does a precision job!
