I cannot express how thankful I am for this pet store and the owner who I had the pleasure of working with. Due to the threat of Hurricane Irma I had to figure out a way to get my Grandmother home along with her dog. After finding a plane ticket and overnighting an airplane approved dog carry on bag I thought I had everything in order. Unfortunately, the package I ordered on Amazon and paid to overnight ship,was delayed and left my Grandmother without a bag to bring her little pup with her. I am out of state so all of this was being handled from a far. After calling numerous stores and having no luck finding a carry on bag I landed on Lil Rascals. The woman I spoke with was beyond helpful, evening going as far as texting me photos of the bag options she had. In the many text exchanges and phone conversations the we had, she was so understanding of the situation and was beyond helpful. Nothing is more frustrating than being states away from your loved one without being able to physically help. As I helped my grandmother navigate how to get to her store ( without a GPS), the woman stood outside waving her car down to show her just where she was located. The interaction was amazing and she simply went out of her way to help. In such a stressful time with the threat of the hurricane, she was able to relieve some. While I have not physically been to this shop, the customer service was 5 starts. Thanks so much for your help!

I cant even describe this place except hell for these poor dogs.. Your immediately greeted with the stench of waste like being slammed by a door in the face, no food or water (if any, was spilled all over the floor) And no AC. I am an experienced owner of Siberian huskies and to just see the two put on display showing very little energy made me not only disturbed, but disgusted. Now onto customer service.. The employees were strait up rude. Even though it was obvious that the huskies Ive mentioned before were not pure breads, but definitely mixed, I was confirmed that they were indeed "full husky" and only for a whopping 1.5k! ..hmm. Of course, Im not buying their garbage. In conclusion: these animals are borderline abused, The staff is horrible and absolutely NO DOUBT these pups are from puppy mills. My advice to you if youre looking for a dog: adopt or know your breeder.

My daughter wanted to see the puppies so we stopped in. As soon as we walked in the smell was overwhelming. There was poop and pee in all but one pen where the dogs were. The young girl working sat behind the counter on her phone and never even looked up or said anything. Most of the dogs were sleeping on the floor. It was pretty warm inside. We couldnt stay long as the smell was making my husband and I nauseous. I am appalled at the lack of cleanliness that those poor puppies had to lay in. Hire someone who will actually do her job and not neglect the poor puppies. Disgraceful.

Walked by because we are interested in a puppy. The smell of this place is so overwhelming. We were greeted by far and told not to touch the puppies. The girls that are working there are so rude. Didnt help us at all. Every time I asked her a question she seemed annoyed by my question. You would think they would be nicer knowing how expensive a puppy is. Never going back ! I would of probably purchased a puppy since there was two I loved but the customer service is so bad I just walked out.

We just got our dog groomed there for the first time. The lady thought she was a know it all and spoke to us like we didnt know how to take care of our puppy. She never called when she was ready to be picked up. We went in two hours later to see what was going on. We payed and then she forgot to give us our dog after we walked around the store for another 10 min. Never going back again.

Walked by the other day after the shop had closed and noticed that puppies had been left in make-shift pens in the middle of the tile floor. No water...no blankets!! The facility is dirty and it smells. They clearly do not care for their puppies properly! Im shocked this place hasnt been closed down!!

Appalling and thoroughly disgusting that Gulf Coast Town Center would support a front to the puppy mill trade. Im never coming back to this mall. There is no such thing as a "reputable breeder" that would agree to put their dogs in a store like that.

We just walked in to see what was going on and right away it smelled horrible and the puppies werent active and their areas were messy. We got absolutely no greeting and even when looking at the puppies we didnt hear a word from the girl working.

No reputable breeder sells to pet stores, because pet stores do not investigate the people they are selling to. In other words, pet stores all use puppy mills, and puppy mills are absolutely terrible.

I just walked by and I see two puppies by the window with no bed and one blanket that they share. The light is shining so bright on them and it is 11:00pm at night!

Horrible conditions for these puppies, theres pee all over the floors, no pee pads, and the dogs white fur is sometimes stained yellow from sitting in pee

I honestly didnt feel comfortable in this establishment. The only creatures who greeted me were the dogs/puppies. Needs improvement on customer service.
