Their Extended Warranty on appliances is GARBAGE and I truly question the quality of their goods sold. I purchased a Maytag double oven that needed the master board replaced as the oven would not turn off. I called House of Appliance, they referred me to the warranty company which was a nightmare to deal with. Many telephone calls later to schedule an appointment and waiting 2 days for someone to show for a sheduled appointment as the first appointment they went to the wrong address which I was only told when I called them after waiting all afternoon. They eventually repaired the stove. I then had my Jen-Air Refigerator/Freezer stop running for no apparent reason and then start up 15 hours later. I contacted House of Appliance again, they referred me to the warranty company. They came out on 3 separate ocassions and gave me one BS excuse after another and the problem was never fixed. I wound up getting a mini-reigerator to put in my den as a backup as I was sick and tired of losing tons of food due to spoliage. I then contacted Jen-Air directly and requested a service man from the company which was not covered under this so callled warranty. I contacted their service rep and he came right out within 2 hours to take a look. He told me that the entire master board needed to be repalced as the master board for my model refigerator was defective. He suspected that the reason why the warranty company would not replace it, was because of the cost. I told him to order it and I will pay out of pocket as I just wanted it fixed. I did - over $300.00 later and my frig/freezer as been working great for over a year now. Now onto my Miele Dishwaser. That too wouldnt turn off and I contacted House of Appliance and they referred me to the warranty company. I contacted the warranty company and they referred me back to House of Appliance and here we go again with the run around. At this pint Ive had enough so I decided to contact Miele direclty. I called in the morning and they came out the next day at noon. The pump was broken and needed to be replaced to the tune of $600.00. I thanked the men for coming and I paid them for their time ($125.00 service fee) and told them its a piece of junk as it has never dried dishes and the door never fully opened unless it was pushed down with something heavy in the bottom rack to hold it in place such as a pot or several dishes. From day one, I have had nothing but issues with their appliances and have paid out of pocket to get them repaired as the warranty companies are a joke to deal with. Once House of Applicance makes the sale, they want nothing more to do with you and that is very much evident when you call to question warranty information. They are unfriendly and not willing to help you in any way to facilitate any repairs under their so called Extended Warranty. I now await Sears to install my new dishwasher!

I have visited House of Appliances multiple times and I am amazed at the astounding level of service each employee has provided. Their showroom is beautifully decorated and every individual working there is always ready to help. I am not sure that what "Tracie" is talking about could have actually occurred through this company. The owners are extremely professional and care about each customers well being. I have purchased multiple Sub-Zero, Dacor, Miele, and U-Line appliances and I have never been happier with their pricing and performance. I definitely recommend this store to anyone looking for reliable appliances and friendly customer service.

I read the first review which was posted here, the rosy complimentary one and even I could see that this review was planted. My experience was one of disappointment. The salesman was good but after that the delivery scheduler and the delivery crew were horrible. Keep an eye on the delivery crew at all times!! They were snooping and casing the place.

Called and asked about pricing on Speed Queen clothes washers and dryers. I think Ill buy it from a place who actually wants my business. Guy seemed unwilling to tell me what the price was for something. Glad I didnt waste my gas and drive over.
