I was looking for a bicycle to ride as therapy after orthopedic surgery, so we decided to try this shop. We walked into the large store with a sizable inventory. The first think we noticed about the selection, was they all looked pretty much alike. There was very little to reflect the personality of the rider. There were 2 guys behind the desk who proceeded to totally ignore us, in spite of the fact that there was not another customer in the store. We finally managed to get one of them to come out from behind the desk. I knew that we couldnt afford a lot and everything looked pretty pricey. What confused me most, was the way the bikes were sized. They didnt follow anything I knew about sizes. Evidently they were marked with the frame size rather than the wheel size that I had been used to seeing. The issue was, that I couldnt get the sales associate to give me any idea of the correlation between the two, no matter how many times I rephrased the question. I wasnt sure whether to speak louder or slower. After a frustrating 10 min. or so, we left. I bought a wonderful bike at another store for a fraction of the price of anything on their floor. We did feel forced to return on another occasion. When the weather started warming up too much for me to be out, I wanted to get a trainer for my bike so that I could use it to exercise in the house. They were the only ones that had them in stock. We reluctantly returned. Sure enough, they actually had one put together and up on a platform. Once again, we got no help as to how to judge the size of the trainer as compared to my bike. We asked him if he could put a bike in the trainer, so we could at least see how it worked. "No." That was it, just "No." So we left. Needless to say, if anyone were to ask us about returning to this store, the answer is, "No."

I am very disappointed with this BikeAmerica in Coral Springs. I have bought two bicycles there in the past, and have purchased all of the bicycle accessories for more than ten years here. I bought two tire tubes, and was having a problem with them going flat immediately; so I took the tire in, BOUGHT a new tube; I asked them if they could help me and check to see if something wasnt making them flatten that I could not see; they quoted me $6 for the tube, and put it into the tire for me. All of 4 minutes, maybe. Then charged me another $10 to install the tube into the tire at checkout! So I asked them to reconsider, and told them how unhappy I was. It was then that they all looked at each other, like they did not understand English, and the gentleman ringing it up shrugged his shoulders and said "This is the standard charge". That was rude. I would expect that charge if (1) I didnt shop there, and (2) if they quoted me that charge when they told me the new tube was $6. I had the tire with me and they knew that they were going to put the tube in for me and check to see if something was making it flat. MIND YOU, I WAS LOOKING AT THE BIKE SECTION AT NEW BIKES! I asked for John the manager, who was not there, they told me. JUST POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FOR A REGULAR CUSTOMER. Unacceptable and I will not return! I would give "0" stars but I could not post it if I did.

Worst customer service. My friend had warn me about this place when they messed up his brand new MTB he just want his brakes to be looked at and when he got it back its making some noise and told it was like that before. So I ignored that and went anyways had my bar ends installed the guy seems to not know what he was doing and put em on downwards and i told it do go that way and i had to show to him how it supposed to be installed. Now, my stupid behind came back again to get some jersey and the same guy, thinking i could give hime another chance handed me a womens jersey remind you i drove far to get there. So when i realized it was a women jersey i came back to the store couple days later to return the the guy there told me sarcastically "why are you returning it a womens small jersey dont feet you?" And when they charged me restocking fee when i clearly saw the guy just put it back the same way or they will just give me store credit. I told them Im never coming back to there store. I wont give them any star if i could.

Hands down my favorite bike shop to go to. Every time I go there everyone is extremely helpful and they are very quick on handling any of my issues. The shop has a decent selection of bikes and accessories and if they dont have it in stock they have always offered to order it. The shop offers a Saturday morning guided mountain bike ride that taks you down Atlantic to the levee then to Markham park and back. I went on my first ride from the shop Jonathan was extremely nice and patient with me. I never felt rushed or as if I was burdening them with my slower pace. They were also offering a flat repair clinic later in the day after the ride, which I stayed for. The flat repair clinic was very informative and even though Ive changed a few flats myself they were still able to show me things that I didnt know to think of. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone who was looking for a great bike shop and a great experience .

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING SERVICE! Not one issue in customer service, they have good attitudes and are extremely friendly. Satisfied beyond amazement with them, they put a few parts on my bike and got it running smoothly, the chain skipped a gear but i took it back in to them and they adjusted it immediately. Cant stress enough how good a bike shop they are, charged me extremely fairly and even called before putting the tire and tube on my order which i forgot to add. Called me when it was done and had no problem holding it til i could come pick it up. BIKE LOVERS LOOK NO MORE THIS IS THE SHOP FOR YOU. Loved it here and will definitely go back when i need more parts or service. The employees are more than friendly theyre kind and actually interested in your plans with the bike. Rarely do i post reviews but they are absolutely deserving of 5/5 stars

Went to the Bike America with an almost new mountain bike where the hydraulic brakes were tight on the discs. I had just put new wheels on the bike. Got this story from the mechanic: "Oh yeah, those Avid brakes are old (2012) and have had lots of problems. You can either bleed the brakes for $45 or better yet replace the entire brake set for $450." I am not kidding the guy said this. Took the bike to Alexs Bike in Coral Springs, they simply let out some hydraulic fluid and the brakes worked perfect. Plus they were gracious enough not to charge me as they said "it took them 5 minutes". Ill still go to Bike America, but only for inner tubes.
