I spent a whole day driving from West Palm Beach to North Miami (4 hour drive) to buy the famous wahoo training mill. I called the store about 3-4 times to see until what time they where open but no one answered. When I got there I was "greeted" by some guy named Nick Vargas who thought for some given reason he was doing me a gigantic favor in showing me the training mill, with an extremely cocky attitude he didnt even want to show it to me, he simply told me, "oh we only have one left and its in the back" when I asked him if I could see it he rolled his eyes and took 20 minutes to bring it out.. once he pulled it out he simply put it on the floor and left without answering any of the rightful questions any customer would have given a 1,190.00 dollar purchase. I mean this is absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experienced, I dont know if this guy is the cocky owner of the store or if he doesnt get paid a commission for selling, but what I do know is I am never going back there again and I dont recommend anyone reading this post to go either.

Walked in on Sunday afternoon with my brother with every intention purchasing two bikes if everything went well. My brother was approached by a salesman who didn;t even acknowledge my existence, regardless of what I asked him, than when my brother asked how their Specialized 29er compared to Cannondale he ridden and really liked, this pompous-arrogant, green-horn began trashing the Cannondale because according to him it was own by a walmart retailing company, did he not know that Specialized frames are made in Taiwan by Giant ? The guy was a total shark never answered any of my questions and completely trashed any brand that wasn't specialized while always making reference to their amazing marketing. This may serve the flashy superflous rich third-worlders in Aventura. Needless to say, my brother loves his Cannondale 29er and I love Giant Trance X4. Looking at you: Suner.

Thank you Nick and Carlos! Jumping from a Mountain Bike to a Road Bike I had my doubts and 100 questions. I spoke to Nick about options and came back a few days later to see and test out the bike he had recommended. My friend Eva was also in the market for a bike, so we spoke about bikes for her and once we decided on a bike Carlos took over and helped us with getting everything setup in pink of course. We had our good laughs. Needless to say, we spent the entire afternoon at the store - between prepping Evas bike and building, testing and prepping mine. It was a learning experience. We really enjoyed the family atmosphere and how people would just stop by to say hi. I have been ridding two to three times a week now. Yeap, I have fallen twice but it is part of the experience. Need to start playing with the gears and bridges. Thanks again guys.

I went to the store searching for the Wahoo training system, but instead i found out what the worst customer service consists of. A guy named Nick Vargas was "helping" me with my purchase, a 1190 dollar purchase. When i asked him about the indoor training system que basically told me it was stored in the warehouse and i had to insist him to let me see it. It took him 20 minutes to get the thing out, it wasnt even in the warehouse he had it inside the store and for any given reason he didnt wanted to show it. He then basically just put the wahoo training system in the floor and left, when i searched for him to ask him a couple of questions about indoor cycling system he just ignored my existence and kept talking on the phone. Worst cycling shop and worst customer service by far

I was in the market for a new bike and went by several shops looking at all of the major brands. The more I looked and talked with friends the more trouble I had deciding. BIg Wheel Bicycle in N.Miami came highly recommended I was not disappointed. Richard assisted me in choosing A bike that fit my needs and was well within my budget. Richard steered me into a bike that had features that I needed without overselling me into a bike that was more than I needed. I have worked in sales and absolutely hate feeling pushed into buying something. There was no pressure at all. This shop is Tops in knowledge and its helpful staff. It was worth the drive from Broward!

Ive been going to this bike shop now for about a year on and off and the staff is always friendly and helpful. One of the employees there Ryan is a top notch guy and hes helped my wife and I out on numerous occasions with basic fixes, gear and answering a ton of questions. Service like this are uncommon in South Florida and we will continue to do business with them as long as they keep the doors open. I recommend them to anyone in the North Miami Beach area or anyone that needs some fixing after running the trails at Oleta River State park which is right across the street! Thanks Big Wheels -Todd & Sonia

Walked in on a tuesday, midday, wanting to buy a bike. I looked at a few and then proceded to the rear of the store. Thats when I finally saw someone working there. There were actually 2 men in Big Wheel shirts and another man in regular clothes. They were having a discussion amongst them selves in spanish and didnt greet me, look at me or offer any service. I continued looking for about 20 seconds and left. Again without any notice. Great service!!!!, I live around the corner from Big wheel but its worth it to drive somewhere to get service! Ill take my business to Lees.

They are a very busy bike store. They people that work there are very knowledgable and the bikes they have are quality. they can offer great assistance to you if you dont know anything about bikes. only reason i wouldnt like it is because i think their prices are a bit high but can be negotiated. i purchased a Bike there and saw it advertised somewhere else for $50 less... not too bad. but still. however, they did offer a free upgrade to a better seat and gave me 2 free tune ups, so maybe its not that bad after all..

This place must be owned by some rich guy who does not need any business. When I walked in my girlfriend and I were the only customers in the place + 5 or 6 employees and got no greetings..ZERO so I greeted the employee myself as he walked by mumbling something. Second they have a poor parts selection. Maybe two or three handlebars some tires and the usual bits and pieces. We walked out with out anyone saying a word to us. Better off getting your bikes and parts online which is what Im about to do...

No matter how many times I visit Big Wheels, everyone there is beyond helpful! Nick is always great and full of knowledge, always suggesting the right products and helping me with everything. Carlos is phenomenal and has helped me countless times with my bikes, even when it was the smallest creaks that were coming from god knows where! The staff there is helpful and direct and have always gone above and beyond. Thanks again, you have a customer for life!
