My first time dealing with this store and its not pretty. I dropped of a MTB wheel to be assembled. Joe assured me that he had built many wheels and it was no big deal. He actually said sweet... Ill handle it! I assumed it would be ready in a couple days since it was no big deal.I called a couple of days later and they said it wasnt ready. No biggie. I called at the end of the week on Friday and they told me the wheel was sent to Miami to be assembled.... What??? No one ever mentioned it had to be sent out. Oh, and it wasnt on the truck for that week so it will be ready next Tuesday. Well its next Tuesday and guess what?? ....It missed the delivery truck for today so now its going to be Friday. That completely screws up my sons birthday weekend mountain biking in Ocala. Stay away, you have been warned. I was a well and was too stupid to listen. Listen to me now and hear me later.

Went in to choose a Cannondale bike for a purchase 2-3 mos away. spoke with saleguy, and was very helpful. came back twice to narrow my search ,ask more questions, and ask about price negotiation. Came back last time and Manager was an absolute rude and inflexible piece of garbage. Not only wouldnt he negotiate, but he didnt offer any financing options, and Lost my business. I went to Big Wheel cycles 1/2 mile north and was treated with respect, courtesy, and assistance with choosing a Mountain Bike. I spent 1000.00 plus on a Specialized Rockhopper 29er with many upgrades, and the entire staff is courteous, knowledgeable and offer layaway. I paid the Bike off in 3-4 months , and couldnt be happier with Bike and service ! Bike America is a Joke. Take Note Mr Manager!!

What can I say about Trek Sunrise . 1st off I was using a bike shop closer to my house and now travel a bit further for the midas touch at Trek Sunrise . These guys have changed my life. They have made me so successful with their product and knowledge of it i have become an avid MTBer , that rides everyday. I have made friends with a bunch of riders from the store. We all have Fuel Ex 9s and go terrorize the local trails daily. I got a flat on the trail at Markham drove over to see the boys and boom less then 10mins i was done and out of store and heading back to trail. I also would like to make it clear im not an easy customer . Even my fiancee loves going there and now rides trail to and loves it. My two cents

took my girlfriends sons mountain bike in for a tune up. When I went to pick up the bike and inspected the bike, the kickstand was still loose and the brakes needed to be adjusted. Before I left the store I informed the tech of this and he promptly apologized and adjusted the brakes and kickstand. Then upon my second inspection the brakes still needed adjusting as they were still dragging on the tire without applying the brakes. The tech came over again and properly adjusted it and was apologetic. Based on this experience I would say their techs are inexperienced and/or apathetic about doing a good job. I would not take a bike there again for any kind of repair or tune up.

Walked in with two bikes and couldnt fix neither. The first bike is a trek alpha b series 3700 and I needed the rear wheel replaced. They did not have it in stock but they offered a wider version which involved replacing the tire as well. I decided to just order the right tire on my own online. The second bike is a k2 sport base single pivot full suspension and I needed the bracket between the pedals replaced. He said he is not sure what size the bracket is even though we can research it online based on the model number of the bike and it would cost $25 to take the bracket down to see the exact measure of it and then figure out if they have it in stock:) amateurs!

I recently brought in my Giant mountain bike to Bike America in Sunrise fully expecting to leave it there for a few days and dropping some hard earned cash. I rolled the bike into the shop and was greeted immediately. As I was explaining the problems I was having with my bike the tech stopped what he was doing and placed it on the stand. Not 15 minutes later thinking he would tell me how bad the damage was, how long it would be in the shop, and the high cost of the repairs, the tech said "its all yours". I was pleasantly surprised to say the least! The crew in Sunrise has a customer for life. Thanks for an honest fair assessment and quick and cheap repair.

Awesome experience ! 4/8/2016 Brought my dirty and beat up old Trek Mountain bike in for a tune up, and asked for all of its cables to be replaced as well. What I got back was a WORK OF ART ! Bike looks, feels, and rides better than it has in years ! Reasonably priced, and ready 1 day sooner than estimated. (Done in 4 days). Friendly, personable staff and exceptionally knowledgeable. Seriously- Ive NEVER had a bad experience at this Bike America. Well done, gentlemen- Im a customer for life. (***Read the negative reviews closely- it sounds like those who gave poor reviews, were miserable people to begin with !***)

Over all, it’s a great store. Ive been there 5 times now an had a chance to meet most of the staff. Everyone seems friendly and knowledgeable about what they sell. I also had them put a new fork and breaks on my GT Avalanche. It took a week to get the parts in, and they had the work done in just a few hours. Everything looks good. They seem to have a good stock of cycling accessories, and Ive noticed there prices are very completive compared to the big online stores. But if youre buying a bike.... you better like Trek. Cuz thats about all they got. I guess I just like stores that carry multiple bike brands.

Experience was fine, but I was unhappy with the fact that I had my 11 year old with me, bought a bike in about 10 minutes for her, and didnt realize it did not have a kickstand until we got it home. I think, knowing it was for an 11 year old, the salesperson should have known or at least mentioned that we may want a kickstand for the bike. Also, one of the bikes had to be ordered, and I was never notified ever that it came in. They then told me they would deliver it and did not, after 3 phone calls. But, love the bikes, not that that has much to do with the store, since they didnt make them.
