Excellent team work these guys have. We have been looking for a wheelchair van to buy, came across VIP Auto Group and we texted VIP through one of their ads at 9:46 pm on a Saturday night, to our surprise Chris texted right back with the info we were looking for and referred us to Albert one of the owners. They are conveniently open on Sundays and Albert works on Sundays and he can see to us on a Sunday visit. We arrived Sunday afternoon after a 2 1/2 hour drive. Im very skeptic about salespeople and their sales tactics to move product. We have now been looking at cars for almost two weeks and been hearing all about the sales pitches like the little old lady that only drove to Church and back each week so all my red flags are up. We meet up with Albert when we arrived and he was very nice guy as I expected from a salesmen but after about 15 to 30 minutes dealing with Albert to my surprise this nice guy truly is how Albert is, very down to earth, friendly, no long dragged out sales pitch stores and truly show concern for our needs. I have never had such a pleasant experience buying a car in all my 40 years of car buying. Albert not only was very helpful but he never hung over us giving my wife and I the room to talk privately but he was close enough to answer question quickly when we had some. He never pushed on us any of what he wanted to sell and pleasantly directed us to what we had questions on as well as informing us about other similar vehicles they had on the lot without being pushing. We were very impressed by the excellent condition and large selection of the vehicles they had for us to choose from that meet our needs. We decided on the vehicle from the ad was what we wanted and this one was in new condition just like advertised. Albert was very informative and we felt very comfortable asking question which Albert pleasantly answered every one of them making sure we understood and he made the paperwork a breeze. VIP made all the arrangements to have our new van delivered by flatbed trucking to our doorstep. After we arrived home we were again impressed on how we were informed of each step of the way as the van was detailed and shipped to us, shipping was very fast, the van was in our driveway less than 24 hours later and the 3 year old van looked and smelled like a new vehicle. VIP Auto Groups experience shipping vehicles all around the world showed very well as it looks like they have mastered it, very smooth and quick. If you are someone reading this thinking about buy from VIP Auto Group from afar this company is a company I’m sure you’ll be very happy with, I’m confident they will take good care of your needs as they did ours. We truly highly recommend taking the time to check out what VIP has for sale and maybe even make it your first stop, if its not your first stop you will understand what we are saying about them when you can compare the other dealers from the other places youve been to your visit with VIP Auto Group.

I am 67 years old and I have purchased a lot of vehicles both new and used from various dealerships over the years. I have never experienced the genuine willingness to help me from a automobile dealership as I have with VIP Auto group. From negotiating the purchase price with trade in, to making sure that I was pleased with every aspect of the vehicle being purchased, I took the vehicle to the Honda Dealership for an inspection because I never dealt with this dealership. Their inspection was thorough ( 2 hours) and they reported that the vehicle was in excellent condition. After the purchase, I forgot to take my wheelchair restraints, and seat belt extender from my trade in vehicle, Albert gave me brand new high quality restraints, much better then the ones I left with the trade in vehicle, the same for the Seat belt extender.. All in All, I probably was a pest, but Albert never complained, he continued to go out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed. Albert is trustworthy and cares about his patrons, and perhaps most important he is not pushy. He sells quality vehicles.. He has gone out of his way for me, and I am certain that he has and will continue to do the same for all his patrons. Should I require another vehicle I will return to purchase one from his dealership even though I dont live in the area. Albert, you truly are a humanitarian. Thank you ! Jonas

Went to this independent dealership in Clearwater based entirely on the other reviews from people who have commented on this place. Were glad we did. For a auto dealership this place ranks right up there on honesty and customer first mentality. Our sales person, Albert, was hesitant at first with giving us the deal we were looking for to walk out with our vehicle. After negotiating with him it became clear that his intention was to make sure we were happy with our counter offer. With a slight hesitation he did, in fact, give us the vehicle for the price we asked for. Albert was a true gentleman in every way and we realize how hard it was for him to settle. He did it with 100% professionalism which is why we rate this place 5 stars. Its a small lot with a lot of very nice vehicles to choose from. Some vehicles slightly overpriced some not. Depends on what youre going for. We bought a 1985 Dodge Grand Caravan completely loaded for what we consider under the KBB value or close to it. Bottom line...we left happy so thats what any consumer could hope for from an auto dealership especially an independent one at that. So people...if youre looking for a decent priced vehicle and it happens to be on the lot, dont be afraid to ask Albert to take your BAFO (Best And Final Offer) because theres a more than 70% chance hell give it to you. Thank you Albert...good job.

Good dealer with a few caveats Recently purchased a car from VIP Auto Group in Clearwater. Overall it was a good experience. Some of the usual car dealer things - pressure to buy right then and there. Usual sales tactics, things like that. It wasnt overwhelming though and in the end I feel like I got a fair deal. One of the biggest drawbacks was communication. I sent a contact via their website and didnt get a return. Also called and left voicemail and didnt get a call back before finally just driving there about 5 hours later. From what I saw while there, while they have an automated phone tree system its not necessary as it appears only one person answers the phone (Its a two person outfit). So if youre willing to wait a good while for a return contact or are just willing to drive there, it may be worth your while. Especially if youre prepared for the usual car dealer sales. I would buy again if they had a vehicle I wanted.

I came in looking for my second truck, I had my eye on a brown f-150 they had for almost 2 months. I had talked to Albert before, very nice guy. I asked about the truck looking for a price and some history of it, but the man with the dark hair and glasses that came out with me acted as if I were a waste of his time. He never looked me in the eye, gave me no information at all, very unhelpful and rude. Im guessing he didnt think I had the money to buy it being it was 20,000 and I was young for a person to come in by themselves looking for a truck, but I did have the money. So instead I bought the same truck with fewer miles for cheaper elsewhere two days after. Good job loosing 20,000 dude. Im hoping this review keeps others from the burden of "wasting his precious time".
