Staples Review on Google – 2016 Nov 29 Excellent customer service by Staples associate “Chris”. I was @ Staples on Black Friday and overheard a conversation between a Staples associate (Chris) and what I will describe as a “difficult” customer. Although the customer started with unrealistic expectations, Chris was able to expertly defuse the situation and ended up with a satisfied and pleasant customer. His handling of the difficult customer was a double win for Staples. First, the difficult customer ended up as a happy customer. Second, Chris’ handling of the situation reinforced in my mind that ALL customers are important to Staples as a company. People don’t often stop to realize how a person behaves as an employee of a company – whether it is a driver of a marked company vehicle or a sales associate, can impact a company’s reputation. Other customers and potential customers can be forming an impression of the company by the action/behavior of even just one associate/employee. Think about that time someone in a truck cut you off in traffic. You don’t know the name of the driver of that company vehicle, but you do remember the company’s name because its name and/or logo was displayed on the vehicle. Your negative thinking about being cut-off funnels toward the company as a result. I was so impressed with the expert way that the Staples associate handled the situation that I later asked the associate a question - just so that I could read his name tag. Unknown to the Staples associate, I wanted to include his name in a review. Staples – I hope that you recognize associates like Chris for the professionalism and positive image that he, and others like him, fosters for Staples.

Up until Dec. 30 2014 I have never had a problem. Let me explain: I had to get 200 photo copies done so I went to the desk and guy was standing doing his check ou on someone. First, I was next to be served when he finished the transaction he asked me what I needed I said I need 200 copies of these papers in two different, he looked around like he was puzzled then in walks a girl went over to the UPS are with several packages he walked over like I wasnt even there. I was like what the hell am I invisible. I stood there then in walks another girl he told her Ill be with you in a minute. Well long story short..I usually dont bring up the race thing..but this time I felt race had something t do with it. I am white, he was African american and the two girls that came in after me where both African American..I then left went over to office depot and got served immediately. Prior to that I have been a loyal customer of staples for the last 10 years... Here is my name.. Dan Newton Lets get it together Staples.

Its apparent that neither the management nor the staff do not care what their customers and potential customers think about them. Six people in the copy center and not one of them was able to punch some holes in a few sheets of paper and put a binder on it. Its a job that takes no more than 5 minutes and I was told that I would have to come back tomorrow which is absolutely ridiculous. Bottom line, DO NOT GO HERE FOR COPY NEEDS, theres a FedEx down the street next to the wawa that does a lot better job than these incompetent buffoons.

We received very poor customer service. I will not name names, however, the person who helped us was not very professional. We ended up going to Best Buy and the service was like night and day. I wrote a positive review for them because they deserved it. I have a difficult time writing negative reviews because I just dont like to, however, in this case, I felt it was important. Maybe management will see this and talk with employees about professionalism.

I went to store today for a chair and laptop. The chair i am looking for sold-out in store and laptop sale from 11/29 to 11/30 only. The assistant manager long hair guy he is an arrogant guy..He dont know how to treat customer. He said the laptop is for thanks giving. I asked him but it mentioned today and tomorrow sale. He gave weird expression and worst answer. The worst customer service ever.

Spoke to an associate on Monday about getting a Dell laptop like the one my daughter had gotten a few months back. Got me the best deal and free delivery. Even with the snow they got it in time for my wifes birthday. Thanks Chris.
