My daughter had seen one of the doctors but then she merged with delaware ophthalmology. I called to schedule an appointment and it was almost 4 months away. The appointment was finally last week they called to confirm I got my daughter out early from school we get there check in and started looking at glasses since waiting room was packed about 10 mins later they call us but not to go back but to tell me they dont accept my insurance and I either needed to pay for everything or cancel the appointment! Needless to say I was very angry in all those months they didnt think to let me know they dont take that ins!!!!

If you are looking for a cattle call where you have to spend a minimum of an hour for a routine eye exam, be under the care of the rudest technicians and doctors, obtain the wrong contact lens prescription, get an insurance claim filed with the wrong insurance company, and get nickel and dimed for every part of the appointment, then Delaware Ophthalmology is the place for you!! These things all happened to me, and my only mistake was going back a second time to give them another chance, all for the same lousy experience. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for your vision care.

The doctors are nice, as are the techs and front desk. The waiting room feels like a cattle call, very impersonal, and I just found out after going to a new doctor, that I was misdiagnosed here not once, but twice, including one time where they gave me medication I didnt need for their incorrect diagnosis, even though I kept repeating my symptoms year after year. I will continue going to my new doctor, this isnt the place for me.

Never again will I come to this office! I had to wait 45 minutes after I signed in! The staff was ok but it was like a SLOW revolving door. I normally go to the Middletowm office but my doctor was not available so I went to the office in Wilmington. The technician was nice but her exam was very quick. Just checked for eye pressure and vision. The doctor was quick but informative

Some members of the staff are pleasant but I cant say the same for some other...wait always pushes an hour each time I visit. After this trip I will not be returning which is truly a shame.

Dr was ok but optical shop and associates at shop were not the friendliest people to interact with. Never got call to collect my glasses and kept message but nobody called back.
