I have read some of the negative reviews of this Apple Store. Whatever they may have run into that caused them to leave a poor review - my experience is exactly the opposite. I found the Genius Bar personnel to be very knowledgeable and very helpful in absolutely every aspect of each of my visits to the Genius Bar. They have bent over backwards to help me every time I have gone into the store for the Genius Bar. In a recent issue with my Macbook Pro (now 6 years old) they did everything I needed for me, and when I spoke with a manager, Carl (who turned out to be their lead Tech) simply to tell him how much I appreciated the help the tech had been, he asked about the case and listened patiently to me. Then did some research, unasked, and put a priority on my repair. Then to top it all off he called me about an hour later and explained what he had found with regard to my case after I had left the store, so I would be informed, then put an expedite on the repairs. Customer service like that is very hard to find these days and I was extremely impressed with everything about how they had handled my case. The sales personnel have bent over backwards to be helpful over time I have gone in there for sales as well. NOTE: there have been times I have had to wait beyond my appointment time, but then they are an exceptionally busy store and since the world does not revolve around me, or my time table, I have had no cause for complaint, and the amount of time past the appointment time I have had to wait has been minimal in every case - not even a blip at long range on my Radar. I can hardly expect a technician to cut someone elses trouble call short just so he/she can meet my requirements. Added to that I have never felt hurried, rushed, or like I was holding them up when they have been helping me no matter how long my issue took, so again - I have no complaints, only the highest praise. I have no words to give higher praise and highly recommend this store, without any reservations.

Still here waiting for my phone to restore. My phone was died because of the battery yesterday and was planning to make an appointment at the bar but apparently they would need to send me a text message to log me in. The reason I was having was with my phone and I couldnt turn it on. I came here this morning without a reservation obviously for not have my phone on around 11:00 AM and was told need to wait for about an hour till I could come back to check in. I checked in around 12:00 PM and waited for another 20 min to have one technician come and help. The only solution they suggested was getting another phone for the battery was swollen and I would lost all my data since I had my back up last time which was months ago because who would thought your phone was still working well and the next morning when you get up all your data is going to be lost or back up your data that frequent. I got my "new" phone without any data and installed the system with one apple ID for iTunes which turned out to be not mine. Had to come back for a restore from my computer and was told need to wait for another hour for another appointment. Now here siting on the bar waiting without any help and just looking for the iTunes "waiting for items to copy" forever. No help, No words, No appointment, Nothing. And its almost 2:30 PM. Third time for a technical support, the service is really unacceptable lately. Used to prefer apple, but need to think about some alternative options now. Well, thanks for the free wifi still so that I can post this comment. Quick update, computer out of power, going back home without any help for siting an hour waiting for items to copy.

On April 7, 2015 an African american male stopped into the Apple Store at the Christiana Mall in Delaware at approximately 6:35 pm. While in the store he was looking at some camera accessories for an Iphone and noticed associates that work in the store began to stare at him. Feeling uncomfortable, he left the store. Soon after two State troopers approached and asked if they could see him in a side hallway. While in the hallway Lt. Jones asked if he was I looking at camera accessories in the store. He replied Yes. The officer then said an associate observed the man putting one of the accessories in his bag and the man told him that wasnt true. The officer then looked the man up and down and asked if he could see what was on his person. The man emptied his bag and removed his jacket and pulled his pants down. The amount of humiliation and outrage felt by the man at this point is beyond measure. The officers apologized and I was free to go. He left the hallway with people staring as if he was a criminal. The man went back into the store to speak with the manager and was treated as if nothing had happened. In fact the male manager became confrontational with the customer. The other associates refused to give the District Managers contact information when asked. Please contact Apple and tell them that profiling should not be tolerated.

My phone crashed. I have Verizon as a carrier. They told me to take the Iphone to the store at the Christiana Mall. I got there and was told they were too busy to help and gave me an 800 number to call. I called the number and they ran remote diagnostics. The agent on the phone told me there were problems with my phone. He gave me a case number and told me to go back to the store because the phone was still under warranty. I went back to the store and waited 10 minutes in line to be told by the tech agent that they couldnt see me for another couple of hours... or I could leave the phone and they would eventually get to it. If I wanted any help at all where I could actually wait for service, I would have to make a "special appointment" to come back when they had an opening. I came back the next week and was again told nothing was available for hours. I had to leave and called the store the following evening to try and schedule a "special appointment" for service. After being on hold for a while, I was transferred to the main Apple phone center because no one at the Christiana store would pick up the phone. When I gave my case number to the person on the phone, she told me there was no record of my issue. Her only suggestion was to try another Apple Store somewhere else. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!! The worst apple store out there, all employees are unreliable. I made an appointment to fix my MacBook Pro, the keyboard wasnt working. This was my second attempt to fix the same problem. Once I got here I had to wait even though I had an appointment, once I was finally called they did a simple fix that work with in a minute. They employee comes out showing me that it works and with in seconds it stops working. He constantly goes back and forth to fix it, then he finally fixes it. I told him that it would practically do the same thing once I go home. He told me dont worry you will be fine. As soon as I get home to check it, it stops working. Called the Apple support team, they gave me an appointment and a case number and told me there will be a new laptop waiting for me there. So I go back to this same apple store and the same guy comes to me and says the same thing as last time. He told me they cant give me a new laptop and have to take it for a week to check it. The manger comes out and is rude and unprofessional, prior to that he also refuses to talk to the same person that I talked to on the phone. He said that they have to call the store through the stores number.
