I love being here. It can be a little hard sometimes to find things, but ask any associate, and they will gladly send you or take you to the correct location. I have never had to wait too long for the cutting table, even where it is packed in there. And even when the checkout line in quite long, they do an excellent job of getting people out as quickly as possible. Always use multiple coupons (email, text, website, and snail mail), the cashiers are always willing to help you save money if they can. They have a great selection of just about anything you could ever look for. If you need help with anything, do reach out to an employee, as they will usually go above and beyond to make sure you find everything you need and are satisfied.

I was going to Joanns regularly previously however Ive found other local craft places to purchase from. Online orders are cancelled without explanation. Staff does not regularly accept certain coupons or discounts. Sometimes they will take my college student sometimes they wont. Sometimes theyll take competitors coupons sometimes they wont. I have a difficult time finding items in stock based on their inventory system online availability. If it says one or two then ok I get it if they dont have it but when it says five or more I would expect to find at least one of that item. The staff are nice just inconsistent in policies.

Cheapo fabrics-mostly China-made. Disappointed with quality. Bought fabric to make childs quilt which had defects and clerk told me that most of the fabric comes from there. After all the effort of sewing something, you want it to hold up or last and hang right. Quality went down when they started bringing in all the other junk and chotchkees years ago.

Sorry but Joanns is not like it use to be :( a customer would stop an employee to ask a question and the employee would like they didnt have time to answer it. It has been on numerous occasions and I hear a lot of my craft friends say the same thing. It feels like the friendliness and feeling welcome in Joanns lately has gone out the window.

Went shopping for ribbon and when I went to pay the machine didnt work for credit option on a debit card. I dont have a PIN for fraud purposes. So needless to say I wont be back and it was a BIG purchase.

Excellent for kids crafts, fabric, and classroom supplies. The yarn selection isnt great, but its about as good as any other big chain. Fairly good selection of knitting needles and crochet hooks.
