The customer service was absolutely horrible. I stood around waiting for 10 minutes while the old woman behind the counter twiddled her thumbs, and the heavier gentleman fiddled with things on the shelf. WORST customer service i have ever experienced. Finally once the man stopped doing whatever he was doing and came to help me, he was extremely rude and short with me. He told me that everything i had brought in was useless and worth nothing and i would have better luck just throwing them away. RUDE. he continued to insult me by sarcastically saying how he couldnt understand why i thought i would even get anything for them. i would never recommend going here, or giving them any business. *** in response to what the owner just said.. THERE WAS NO ONE ELSE IN THE STORE. both of the people in there were standing around doing nothing while i waited. and as far as glass plates..... what in the hell are you talking about. i never said anything about glass. if you want to make sense and have people want to return to your store i suggest you try the amazing concept of "make the customer happy" instead of arguing back with me over the computer.

Been a customer of Winsted Pawn for nearly six years. That has changed in the past month, however. WP&J offers worse-then-normal for anything you intend to pawn or sell. Theyre prices on most items are also far from discounted; two of the TVs they have in stock currently actually cost MORE then the same items brand new at BJs Club! Customer service is poor (and has been for a while); the owner can be rude and at times offensive (even for a pawn shop owner.) You are much better off searching for a different pawn shop. This one offers lousy pricing and poor service; your money is better spent somewhere that actually gives you a deal for used items.

Greg and staff are all very friendly and helpful. They are very knowledgeable about the items they sell as I have purchased lots from them. Never a problem with merchandise as it is all tested before selling. Great selection on jewelry and great prices. Highly recommend.
