This place is the worst! My mom went in to get her gold platted watch battery changed and the guy scratched the back up like a 3rd grader writing their name with crayon on the wall. They apologized and said they could buff the scratches out and then buffed all the gold off. Next, the owner, Crooked Eric, said he would find a replacement and then took 6 months to tell her they could not find anything. Eric then took out cash that was well below the value of the watch and told my mom to leave (a difference of 700 dollars). He got all nasty and hostile towards her after we have gone there for years. Stay away from this chop shop of a jeweler as they love to play games and wont take responsibility for what they have done wrong.

My family has been going to Ecolin since the mid 80s and I wanted to have my wedding ring made custom there, as I was gifted some small diamonds to use in my ring. They completed it in just a few short weeks and the result was so beautiful. It came out perfect and it looks like a set! Eric did a fabulous job and the whole family are extremely wonderful people and very accommodating. I live in Queens, but will always go back out to Ecolin for all my jewelry needs!

I dont typically write reviews, but I had a great experience having my wifes engagement ring re-sized. They were extremely helpful, not pushy at all. They had to give an estimate range depending on how much metal would be needed to make the ring a size or so bigger. It ended up being at the low end of the $ range and whole process was completed in the stated time frame of 2 weeks. Excellent job. Definitely going to use them for my jewelry needs.
