3 incidents! and ive been banned horrible customer service! ive bought ammo through targetsportusa on&off total of 20 times. the first incident was a 7.62x54R spam can i received a busted open can that was missing half the ammo it was one of thos older cans that are covered in lead & painted brown took alot of my time to receive the missing ammo. 2nd incident was a order of 7.62x39 silver bear what i actually received was boxes WPA huge price difference. & again had problems with customer service i was cussed out lots of extreme racial profanity i recorded the phone call and put it on youtube afterwards i was refunded my money and received the correct order & was asked to take the video down i did but now its back up! 3rd and last interaction with the company was a large order of 22LR ammo my order was stolen off my porch my security cameras captured the guy but the ammo was not recovered i have a police report. i called targetsportusa cause my order was insured i paid for signature but order was left on chair next to door. again i was getting cussed out over the phone while apparently the customer service person i was talking to was the same guy from last time & he took his time cussing me out while what i can guess was eating a bag of chips or cereal (crunch!) (crunch!) (crunch!) i recorded this conversation aswell he remembered who i was and banned me from the site i cannot purchase anything from them nor see the website itself unless i use a free proxy server website. this company is horrible! the website may have very good prices on ammo but if the customer service is just so poor incompetent resorts to name calling extreme profanity then banning a customer because if anything the root of the responsibility of the order getting stolen falls on the company for lying. its just a company with good prices but horrible customer service running it. back to cheaperthandirt i go.

Target Sports USA has some good deals on ammo. I always buy in bulk when I can for the free shipping. Their selection is good as well. The reasoning for my piss poor review is due to the following: I ordered my bulk 9mm online on a Friday night after pay day. I quickly told my shooting buddies about it and one of them ordered the next evening. Monday morning we both get our "order has been processed and is ready shipping" confirmation emails. We were both excited. Well his shipped the next day. I never got an email.... so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited till Wednesday to call. I called that Wednesday morning. CJ answered the phone and was beyond rude. She had the attitude of " I cant believe someone is complaining again" type of attitude. I use to work retail as well as in a gun store so I know the feeling. I gave her the benefit of the doubt, bad days happen... But she should not have taken her frustrations out on me. Back to the story, Friday morning comes around and I call as soon as they open and I explain to CJ my frustrations. She told me they ship according to manufacturers... I said ok, explain to me why we ordered the exact same ammo, in the exact same quantity... She didnt have a responses besides "I guarantee your order WILL SHIP TODAY." (This was on a Friday, 11/11/2016.) This was the last time I would give her the BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT. I never received a shipping notice. An order does not sit in pre shipping for a WEEK!!!!! Not even in small businesses. They have beaten around the bush with me on this order multiple times. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM TARGET SPORTS USA EVER AGAIN.... They have done me well in the past but I will not put up with this poor level of service . I will be calling and explaining my case to CJ and her boss Monday morning (11/14/16) and then REQUESTING AN IMMEDIATE REFUND.

THE WORST ONLINE BUYING EXPERIENCE that I have ever had. I got a confirmation of my purchase immediately after placing the order. ONE MONTH went by and I had not gotten any notice from TargetSportsUSA. I sent them an email asking about the status of my order. It went unanswered. I called them, and spoke to a woman who told me, "Its so funny that you called. We are just processing your order. You should have a tracking number by the end of the day." I got off the phone satisfied. Twenty-four hours later, no tracking number. I called again, and was told a similar story. In fact the woman (dont know if it was the same one) says she will go downstairs to the warehouse personally and see if she can expedite my order. I got off the phone satisfied. When I still did not have a tracking number 2 days later, I called again. This time I was told that my order was never processed, and that the items I ordered were on back-order and may be getting there in a week or two! When I asked to speak to a supervisor or a manager, I was told he was way to busy to take a phone call. I can understand a clerical error or a mistake in the orders taken versus the known inventory (although it is sloppy and unprofessional). I would have understood an apology along the lines of, sorry we inadvertently took more orders than we had in stock. We will have your product in a week or two. Instead, they lied to me. This company is at best amateurish and dishonest, and at worst fraudulent. I will never order from them again, and I will advise those that I know, who order these types of products not to order from them.

This is a situation thats rare for me: Im reviewing before I even receive my order. Prices were comparable to a dozen other online ammo sellers, but no deals to be had. Nonetheless, I did find a few things I wanted, so I put them in the cart & decided to try Target Sports as a possible backup supplier. I ordered April 14, and waited nearly 48 hours for my order to be processed. And another 48 hrs for it to ship (4 days after I ordered!). Since there was only one shipping option, via FedEx, whom Ive got no issue w/, but I was astounded when quoted $25 shipping fee! (On a fairly small, ~$130 bill) Hands being tied, and obviously wanting my order, I paid. FedEx, God bless them, had a delay and notified me my package will be one day later than expected. Today is April 26, and tomorrow is supposed to be the day. Bottom line: I stepped out on my main online seller, and I regret it. W/ them, it ships either the very same day, (90% of the time) or the next - never later. Shipping is $12 for most orders, unless youre getting multiple cases. UPS has never failed to have my ammo to me in any more than 6 days, tops. Going w/ Target Sports has not been a great experience. I wont be a return customer. From the many glowing reviews here on Google, Im pretty sure they dont need my business, anyway. Too slow to process my order (48 hrs). Too much to ship ($25!...more than double my normal guys). Too damn long to receive...12 days, and counting. Hopefully, itll all end tomorrow w/ a Target Sports box on my porch. Never again for this shooter.
