If retail stores are going to survive the Internet, it will be because of service of the kind Woodbridge Running Co provides. I was in a quandary about how to replace a beloved brand of walking shoe, which is no longer manufactured or even available on the Web. And it is certainly difficult to try to figure out if a different shoe will "fit" only by reading online descriptions and comments. So I tried a local running shoe store, but left two minutes later because the clerks knew nothing and couldnt be bothered. Then I happened on Woodbridge Running Co. It was like night and day. The person on duty, Matt, was completely focused on helping me, whether he made a sale or not. He knew everything about the shoes, and quickly ascertained my needs. This time when I left a store, I was the happy owner of a new pair of shoes ... and even happier to know that my long-term shoe needs could always be met, because there is no way a store like this one could go under: It must have a large and contented regular clientele.

Walk in on a Saturday around mid-morning and you will know its a great place simply based on the crowd of people waiting to look at sneakers. The staff is super knowledgeable and more than patient when it comes to helping you choose the right sneaker. Today was my first experience with this specialty store and I can assure you that I wont be going anywhere else. Huge selection, price and shoe type (stability, neutral, etc.)) are all displayed and organized. Other specialty stores dont display anything and youre left to rely on the salesperson to tell you what your options are. I had no intentions of buying a sneaker today but the overall experience and good price left me happy to walk out with a new sneaker.

I am not a runner by any means and dont look like I would be a runner. I went into the store to be fitted for runners for a broken foot for therapy. I walked into the store and was greeted as if I were a frequent customer. The young lady who helped me listened to al my requirements, grabbed a bunch of shoes, sat on the floor and helped fit a shoe that not only fit my brace, but still fit my non broken foot. I never once felt out of place in the store. I left with top notch shoes after top notch service.

Its a small space, but they pack a lot in! Matt is super helpful. I feel among my people when I shop there! Theyve got a lot of product lines that you dont typically find at other specialty running stores.
