I had a very positive experience at CT Running Company. I went in to find a new pair of running shoes and a sales associate helped me for 45 minutes to find the perfect shoe. I went home with a new pair of shoes, but when I got home, I realized that they offered different colors online that were not in store. I went back the next day and asked if I could exchange the ones I bought for a different color. They happily took my shoes and ordered me a different color. Overall, every employee at this store was very helpful and friendly.

The New Haven store is a nice place to shop but be careful if ordering online or responding to an email flyer for an online sale. We purchased a pair of shoes online in response to an email add from CT Running Company. We were routed to JackRabbitRunning company which is identified as a "Trusted Online Partner" . The shoes didnt fit and we learned, the hard way, that the stores are "Partners" until it is time for return. This wasnt clear on either website. If you use the store Id stick to bricks and mortar.

Solid neighborhood running store: - Diverse selection of shoes on the wall (fits, lasts, levels of cushion v. support, etc.); - Knowledgeable staff that didnt rush me even though it was closing time; - In-store treadmill for testing out shoes; - All the necessary accessories, e.g. many different insoles, socks, clothing. Definitely the place to go if you need to try on a bunch of shoes or get fit advice before buying.
