I have not found the prices particularly good but I do not watch for sales or specials. Service tends to be poor like Beth B. said. Not being pushy is good but routinely having to first find, then ask someone for assistance is a bother, especially to pay. I have made purchases where I walked to the register in sight of an employee and they turn and walk to the back of the store to talk with another employee or to tend the animals. Wait a bit and no one comes to the register, ring the counter bell and hear a voice from somewhere say they will be right there, then wait a bit more before someone actually starts to head for the register. Of course the plus side of that is clean conditions for all the creatures they have.

Smelly and small. Rotating staff - sometimes friendly and knowledgeable, sometimes rude and lazy. Its different every time I go. Fairly pricey but cheaper than Pet Valu at the other end of town, and sometimes you just cant wait for Amazon or have the time to drive to a bigger town to a megastore. Call ahead if you need something specific. Easily located in the Shop Rite plaza.
