I tried to like this place. I really did. I wanted to spend my cycling money in Ridgefield. Their store is quite nice and very convenient and they promote more cycling in town. Unfortunately, I just dont trust them with repairs. The bottom line is that after some major repairs over this summer I am not impressed and in fact hesitant to ever return there with my bike. In each case the bike was returned faulty (loose headset, loose brake lever, loose crank, etc). They are a nice group of people but I dont think the mechanics always give enough attention to detail (or perhaps they feel rushed and so are unable to give enough attention). I am giving them three stars (and not lower) because you can still drop in and grab a tube or tire quickly and because they do promote more cycling which makes it safer for everyone.

When I recently decided to buy a new bike, Sean found the perfect make and model for me. Jacqui fit me using the Retul system beforehand to make sure I was completely comfortable with the new geometry. After my bike arrived, Paul fit me again for seat height, pedals etc. Ive cycled in this area for 15 years, but my ability had plateaued, and not for lack of effort. This new bike has given me the opportunity to become a stronger and happier rider. Ridgefield Bicycle Company is a dedicated, knowledge, skilled group, and they care. I couldn’t recommend them more highly!!

The customer service is great and they are friendly. They truly care and love what they are doing. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a bike, service, or parts to go here.

Great local bike shop staffed by knowledgeable and enthusiastic employees. They have it all - from the new bike for junior to the latest setup for the serious triathlete plus all kinds of accessories, gear, etc. The owners organize local events and rides all the time. Stop in and say hello. A great resource for the local biking fan.
