I did not purchase anything this visit. I was there over this past summer and had some issues, but I just let it go. Then when I saw that they were offering free jr cones tonight Nov 15th, and I verified that you did not have to purchase anything I figured Id give it another try. and this is what happened... They have the red sign up in the window that states serving FREE ice cream Nov 15th. and the "owner" tried to charge me $3 a piece. He told me he cant give away free ice cream because then there is no money in his pocket.. I could only get it if I bought the coupon book for $3(I was going to do that anyway,procedes to Red Cross). Does that mean hes keeping the $3 from the donation? He then told me I could only get one cone. I had my 4 kids with me. He also informed me he doesnt understand English very well when I turned to reread the sign and walk into the back room . Never to reappear. A customer also in there with her 3 kids said she was denied also and even showed him the online link. How does this get fixed? Did this happen to anyone else today? I understand some store dont participate and this is why I even verified everything before I brought my kids out @ 7:15. They were disappointed but we went to Mc Donalds across the street and made up for it.

Todays the Day! Stores are serving FREE Ice Cream Cones now. Please pick up a coupon book for $3 all proceeds from the sale go to the American Red Cross for Sandy relief. Would not give me free cone So do not bring any coupons...
