Alpine created a beautiful Fairy cake for our twins who turned four yesterday. We were really excited about giving them this cake. It really turned out beautiful and seemed worth the $100+ price tag. The twins jumped up and down when they saw it. We had our whole family over to celebrate and have cake from this 1/2 sheet work of art. The twins blew out the twin number 4 candles and we sang Happy Birthday. My wife cut the cake into generous portions for everyone and served the cake on fairy princess and tinkerbell plates and napkins. We were happy we went with Alpine and not Reinwalds of Huntington. Family members excitedly dug into the cake anticipating some great cake. However, we knew something was wrong right away when our guests ate the first bite of cake with screwed up faces. No one took a second bite. Today we went back to Alpine to return the cake. They tasted it and decided nothing was wrong with it. Well something was wrong because our guests wouldnt eat it. The cake tasted wrong. Bad. Like it was burned or something else burned near it and the cake absorbed it. They refused to refund our money and offered 20% off on our next cake. We will never order a cake nor buy anything else from Alpine. Mistakes happen. Acknowledge them and move on. Ignoring them doesnt help. My kids birthday party was pretty much ruined because of the cake. Their comment was: well the guests must have liked it since you used half the cake. We cut the cake and gave it to the guests to eat - which they did not. This is poor customer service. As a result we will never buy anything at this bakery again. If they simply would have acknowledged the problem and refunded our money, we would still be customers. Its not the money that matters, its the point of being honorable and providing good customer service. I will be posting this elsewhere as I am sure the Alpine management will chose to delete this posting quickly. My advice, dont rely on Alpine to make you a cake for a special occassion as it may ruin the event and the Alpine management will not care.

I have been going to Alpine since 1991. The quality of the product is excellent, that is why lm sad to say I was very disappointed today. I stopped in to purchase various items for my husbands birthday and I was shocked to notice on my receipt that I had been charged $1.00 to have Happy birthday written on my $24.00 cake. The dollar is not the point, if it was I would not have gone to Alpine they are not the cheapest bakery in town. I just feel it poor business to charge for a service that no other bakery charges for, specially when only using a nickels with of icing. Its even worst to not even be informed of the charge. Shame on u Alpine bakery is this the way u reward your loyal patrons. I have recommended Alpine to hundreds of people over the years but I see now that the owners of Alpine put the all mighty dollar above giving their customer a small service that is done gratis and with a smile in every other bakery.

After a long day at work I came home to discover this bakery box in my kitchen . Oh my goodness the best little pastries.. I alway use to drive to west Hampton for the beach bakery for my family birthday cakes and black and white cookies. Thanks to my step mom I will no longer be heading to the Hamptons for the best sweet treats!! Hands down Alpine Pastry is the best bakery Ever! !! ❤️

I come here for every occasion. I love their cakes and pastries. They are always friendly and I think they have reasonable prices. The bakery is always clean and neat. This is the only bakery on the island that I go to because I think theyre amazing. Good service and food are hard to find and they have it all.

Ive been goin to Alpine, for over 20 years, I purchase the Delicious Tiramisu Cake for every occasion, my family fights for it, there is never any leftovers, My kids are even hooked, we have tried it from other bakerys, and resturants, nothing compares, its pricless.... I Love Alpine

Ive been going here for years. Everything I have ever gotten has been amazing. I highly recommend this bakery for any of your bakery needs. If there is a line, please dont let it dissuade you. The line moves fast and the food is top notch. You will not be disappointed.

This bakery was a good find. However some of the staff werent very pleasant, they were rushing us to decide what we wanted. And there was a point where one of the workers who was helping was like "can you please tell me how many more things youre going to get?"

Went there for the first time today and LITERALLY had the BEST desert experience of my life. And I LOVE desert. The cinnamon sugar conolli cream filled cronut is OUT of this world and the macaroons are the best I have ever had. Great job guys youre killin it !

Everything that is made at Alpine Bakery is always delicious. I was lucky enough to have my Birthday cake made here. It was a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting. I may gain 11 lbs but I dont care it Wil be worth it.

Great sweets and treats for any occasion. Can get busy at times though and they go a little heavy with frosting on some of their cupcakes. Other than that their is no other bakery Id rather go to.

This Bakery is nothing but overpriced.... The so famous tiramisu cake is nothing more than an enormous amount of yuck cream. Very expensive yuck cream ($30.00).

Best Italian pastries in Suffolk - you can find better pastries in Queens or Nassau maybe but weve been everywhere in Suffolk and Alpines is the best.

I love Alpines cookies, they are the best. Even if I have no occasion to bring pastries to I buy a box for myself. They only last a day. Enough said.
