I called trying to get an inquiry about what benefits my insurance covered. It was through my medical insurance so it was a little bit more difficult to look up. The lady that I spoke to was very rude to begin with - she told me that with my insurance it only covered exams and contact lenses (I wanted glasses). I then called over to United health care to check on my benefits, they did state that I was fully covered for exams, glasses, and lenses and they showed in their system that Look Optical was a full service provider. Thinking that it may have been a mistake, I decide to call back to check again. I get the same lady, and she was even more rude that before, she yells on the phone that "I already spoke to you and I told you that we do not accept your insurance for glasses" I kindly told her that I called over to my insurance and explained to them what they told me. She still proceeded to yell over the phone and just state the same thing over and over again. I then asked her that UHC stated if I had any issues that they could get in contact with them directly - she told me that they had no interest in calling them because regardless it was not going to be approved. I then asked to speak to her manager because she was not offering to help me, she asked me how she was not willing to help and I respond with I asked her numerous times kindly to call over and help me understand, and even if they still were not able to get me the glasses through insurance at least update their company with UHC so it did not show as a full provider. She then hangs up the phone. I decide to call back again, furious, and she answers and I ask, again, to speak to her manager, she proceeds to tell me that their "manager" is on vacation and the "person in charge" was on lunch. I got her name, Cynthia, and just told her I would be calling back later to file a complaint. The funny thing about all of this is I had not even been into the store yet and already experienced one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. I will never, ever be going here for my vision purposes.

Tuve una cita aqui recientemente con la doctora Moore. Necesitava un examen y lentes ya que de los mios no me podia ver bien a lo lejos. La doctora me respondio todas mis preguntas que yo tenia y explico unas cositas que no entendia bien. Havia ido previamente a otra optica y nunca entendi algunas cosas que el doctor me decia por falta de comunicacion y la barrera de idioma. Al escoger mis lentes, me ayudaron basado en mi necesidad de un bifocal. Nunca havia usado un bifocal y me explicaron como usarlo y ahora veo muy bien de lejos y para leer. Recomiendo este lugar ya que los empleados fueron muy amables y me ayudaron mucho. Gracias a la doctora por su paciencia

El servicio al cliente es malo, si no compras los lentes con ellos son personas groseras, y no te explican las precios desde el principio. Llame primero a programar la cita y especifique que quería solo un examen y cuando fui me iban a cobrar hasta por lentes que yo no quería ni había pedido. Ni siquiera te preguntan que quieres, ellos asumen que te pueden vender lo que ellos quieran. Y así luego cobrar LO QUE QUIERAN. NO RECOMIENDO este lugar porque aparte de todo te dan un examen insuficiente e incompleto y tú si debes pagar completo. Ah y cuido si llaman a preguntar por información por su propio examen porque te cuelgan el teléfono.

Mi experiencia en Look Optical fue espectacular. La Dra Moore es una persona que toma su tiempo, te explica todo, y contesta todas las preguntas que tengas. Yo tuve un examen para contactos y lentes los precios son muy buenos y el servicio al cliente es excelente. La muchacha que me atendió primero fue muy profesional se llamaba Mayra. Si necesitan un examen de lentes o contactos vallan aquí no se van arrepentir.

If you need medical eye help or Glasses GO HERE!!!. I went into today assuming something was in my eye, turns out it was a little worse. They worked with me right away, with little wait and I private payed and felt it was very affordable but they take a bunch of Insurances too i saw on the walls. On top of that the eyes drops to fix the irritation were very expensive and they worked with the pharmacy to find me a great generic totally affordable replacement. I work in healthcare and you just dont get this kind of service especially after 4pm on a friday. Super Kudos to Look Optimal. Im really impressed, and Im usually pretty skeptical as i work in healthcare sale. Thanks

I came down from out of state and they helped me get my glasses prescription sent to their location. The front desk staff were nice and greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. They have a variety of glass frames to choose from, from name brand to simple frames. Not only was I helped choosing my glasses out, they also helped me pick out from glasses that fit well with my face shape! The pickup process was quick and simple. They also informed me on how to take proper care for my new glasses ! Would definitely recommend this place and look forward to seeing them again :)

We have been going to Look Optical for many years. Dr. Moore is very good at getting the right contacts to fit. I have many kids and they have different contact needs and she has always been helpful at finding the right contact eventually. I just had my own eye exam and it turns out my contacts were cheaper at Look than the other places I have previously purchased contacts. So I have VSP insurance and they take that too. The staff is friendly and efficient. I would recommend Look Optical for people that need contacts or glasses.

No Complaints. Very quick visit even as a walk-in. Got an eye exam and fitted for contacts in less than an hour. Utilized their awesome promotion that bundles the eye exam with the product (contact lenses) into one affordable price. Exceptional customer service. Very courteous and helpful staff. I am highly satisfied with the services I received from the doctor who was informative, did not rush, very thorough, and knowledgeable. Look Optical will now be my first choice for my future optical needs.

Everyone here is great. I didnt have to start wearing glasses until about 2 years ago. Then after a year I had to have cataract surgery. Then I needed new lenses. I dont have eye insurance, but they worked with me. I wish other companies would follow how this place operates. Customer care is priority. Its old school, but that is what makes it great. Thanks to everyone at Look Optical at 88th and Sheridan.

Been at this location twice now. Definitely liked the Dr. And the man with the accent hes super friendly and She is friendly and sweet. The billing department sucks! Both times they dont know what they are talking about. The front girls or assistants are rude and push you out as quickly as possible and they dont listen to you. Dont know if I would go back because of the staff.
