I found this place to be the biggest and best gift and souvenir shop in Manitou Springs. To think, we almost skipped this one during our Colorado vacation. Arts, crafts, novelties, trinkets, candy, food, housewares, clothing, accessories.... its all here and so much more. While there were many specialty shops in the main, touristy part of Manitou Springs, there were not many souvenir shops. This place fit the bill perfectly. You should make an effort to stop here when visiting if you like those touristy souvenir shops. (I love em!) This one is the biggest in town... its very large. Note: You should also check out the Garden Of The Gods Visitor Center. They have a good size gift shop as well. Though, the Trading Post here has much more stuff.

This was a really cool little place. Actually it wasnt that little and it had a lot of variety. There are lots of souvenirs and many nice leather goods and other art pieces. The turquoise was beautiful. There is also a nice little snack bar / restaurant that had decent food and the prices werent bad. There was also a little ice cream and coffee place too. The outside seating area was really nice with plenty of shade and nice scenery. I believe there are also a few little nature trails around it but we didnt check those out because we had been walking so much the rest of the day. It was definitely a nice little resting spot after we had already walked eight or nine miles.

Friendly and polite staff. Very reasonable prices and a large variety of souvenirs to choose from as well as a restaurant, a coffee and ice cream place, and theres an arcade in the back of the store that has pinball machines you can play for a quarter. There is also a basketball game that up to 4 players can play for 50 cents a player. Its a good place to stop after taking a bunch of pictures of the rock formations. Worth a stop if you have the time. And they also sell fresh fudge! They offer a decent variety and also let you taste test the flavors.

Been a shopper at the trading post for over thirty years. Bought literally thousands of dollars of jewelry for my wife from there. Ive did this not just because they have quality merchandise but because they always stood behind it. At least until today. Today I took on a silver bracelet that my wife got me for our 25th anniversary. Its cracking. But evidently the policy has changed. Now theyll get it fixed, but at your expense. Very disappointed. Wont be shopping there again. Long time, now ex customer.

I know technically this is a tourist trap, but being a local who lives about 3 blocks away, I love the Trading Post! They let me bring my dog inside and on the patio, the food is not amazing but comes out quickly(and it is certainly passable), I love thier outdoor eating area, they have a couple beers on tap, and when I have to do a gift last minute- I know I can stop in and find SOMETHING there. Plenty of thier jewelry is inexpensive and fun.

This place is amazing! A beautiful location on the south side of garden of the gods park. The gift shop has every type of gift you could imagine. But my family and I usually come for the grill food. The fries are always cooked perfectly, and the corn dogs are the best anywhere. Also, try the teriaki chicken sandwich. And youve got to have some fudge. We live in colorado springs, but coming here makes us feel like we are on vacation!

A pretty cool little place located at the edge of the Garden of the Gods. The staff are very friendly, the service is quick, you can find all sorts of goods, souvenirs and food in there, and its a nice place to relax and break away from the heat. The burgers are good too! Nothing spectacular, but good. You can get free samples of fudge at the front entrance and free samples of poprcorn at the back by the restaurant. Theyre good.

Not your ordinary souvenir shop...of course it has the usual tourist fare up front (packed with day visitors and kids), but also includes excellent bakery items, light food, and ice cream. But venture into the back display areas and a delightful array of handcrafted items, including rustic futniture, knives, artwork, and authentic Indian jewelry are displayed and sold by knowledgeable staff members. Worth a visit.

This business has an extremely unique and underappreciated history and the selection is impressive; theres something here thatll interest just about everyone, but its a classic tourist trap in the sense that everything is WAY overpriced. With the possible exception of the art pieces, theres nothing here you couldnt get any touristy shop in Manitou Springs for one-third the price.

Big souvenir shop with a wide variety of Colorado products and art. Food stinks. Anyone who says "great buffalo burgers" thinks McDonalds is gourmet. Mass produced cardboard patties is more like it. Over-cooked and flavorless filler patties. That said, the environment is top notch. Just dont go for the food. Grab some ice cream or fudge and sit out back.

Really love this place, but at the gift and gallery shop I have to complain. The manager there is horrible. No customer service skills. When I was in before she was embarrassing an employee and that was just out of line. I believe her name is Rose. Makes not want to go to the shop again actually. The trading post gets 5 stars though for customer service!

There is a lot of diversity packed into this store! Everything from Ice Cream to Coffee to freshly made fudge to Colorado memorabilia and of course the obligatory tourist attire selection. My whole family had a fun time browsing this store after we went through Garden of the Gods, easily finding things of interest for everyone.

The trading post has a ton of really cool and unique gifts from Colorado and the Southwest. They have a nice selection of Native American crafts. Theres also a restaurant, so you can grab a bite to eat or a coffee. Allison M. was exceptionally helpful in assisting me in finding unique gifts for my wife and daughter. Enjoy!

The Trading Post has a variety of unique merchandise. The cafe staff is friendly and the food is good and reasonably priced. They also have an ice cream and coffee shop. The view from the dining area makes for a relaxing lunch and the The Trading Post is in the middle of beautiful Garden of the gods!!

This place was actually a lot bigger than I expected it to be and had a wonderful arrangement of many different type of souvenirs and things to remind you of your visit to Colorado in the Garden of the Gods. I did not eat in the little café but the food smelled good and the prices seem reasonable.

Their prices are kinda high on their goods and super high on the food stuff. The lady gave me all sorts of attitude when I asked for a water cup. She wanted to charge me the price of a soda..... I looked dumbfounded obviously... then she gave me the cup with a scolding look of disapproval. Ugh!

This place is a gem, on the south side of Garden of the Gods park. Has all your basic souvenirs, but so much more, from local arts and crafts to food, including ice cream, a grille, and coffee. Looks small from the outside, but its huge on the inside. Goes on and on. Nice patio sitting area, too.
