This facility and its company is one of the nastier places that Ive ever worked for. After cutting my finger in the dish room and bleeding all over the bakery utensils that the public eats food from. So what happens after I get my blood on these baking utensils and pans? My non English speaking manager (which subsequently just adds to the confusion) screams in my face (and as well throwing his arms in the air waving them in my face) to go back to the dish washer but now demoting me to the opposite end I was working on when I cut hand my hand open. Instead of "Managing" the situation and following proper safety regulations for the transmission of blood bourne pathogens he screams and yells. Long story short, I get sent home after being lied to by his supervisor Martin Norzagoray saying that this "Salvador" guy would be written up and sent home. Nope, just me. I get sent home for the day and then find out the next day that they arent doing anything to this guy. Thats all good cuz Im sure the Health department, INS, Dept of Labor and OSHA will be interested in the goings-on at Steven Roberts Desserts after the complaints from this unfairly treated employee.

I went in for a job application. Right when I walked through the door I was spoke to in Spanish. Had no idea what the receptionist told me. When I said what, is when she spoke in English. The receptionist assumes shes psychic and knows a persons race. There was two other women who walked in and she spoke English to them because they were African American. It made me feel like I was pointed out or judged.
