Unfortunately, this is not the place you want to go to if you want to hear the truth about the bikes they are selling. The sales person Stu claimed the bike was in excellent condition and that it was a 1200. This kind of information is important when assessing the value of a purchase. Later, we found out it is an 883 and that it had either been dragged or dropped because two days after purchasing the bike the right foot controls and peg completely fell off. Thankfully, we had just left the house and we werent going fast enough to be killed by the incident. This brings me to the lie about what they would do. At purchase, my husband asked that if anything went wrong if there was a 30-day guarantee or anything. They told him that they dont have a money-back guarantee but if something went wrong they would be willing to work with us. We went into Tri-City to tell them about the right controls falling off. We were referred to Scott Hansen and he was completely unprofessional to border-line bully. We went in there to understand why they sold us a bike that was over priced for what it really was and also to discuss what could have been a fatal incident with the right controls. His demeanor was extremely unprofessional and his remarks were not only derogatory to us, but also insinuated the poor service and quality that Tri City Cycles offers. I was very disappointed after that encounter. Later, I was encouraged because the owner of Tri City Cycles called my husband. Only to disappoint me once more by only offering to inspect the bike. Which, Stu already noted it had been, so why would I have them inspect it again if that is the kind of work they do? The only reason this shop would deserve a "fair" in customer service is because a year ago we purchased gear from Tri City Cycles and the gentleman that helped us was actually pretty knowledgeable and very helpful. Unfortunately, I did not see him there because he was the only thing good about that place. So, if you buy gear from there you might get lucky and get a good retail staff, but I would strongly caution you from buying a bike- buy it from Thunder Mountain which is literally just down the road. The sales team there is extremely knowledgeable, helpful, PROFESSIONAL AND COURTEOUS and they arent pushy if you have an impulse buyer or if you are one. We will be making all of our purchases there from now on even though I like to be diverse professionalism and courtesy go a long way.

One of the worst dealerships I have ever worked with. I bought 6 Yamaha Vikings from these clowns. The 6 units I bought sat in there service department with blown motors for over 5 months waiting for parts to fix them. Then when they were" fixed" the units only lasted about week before they blown there motors again. So of all of the units I bought only one ran for more the 2 weeks before it blew up AGAIN. They guys then sold me a brand new 6 person viking that lasted less the 3 hours with the same problem. So I asked them to trade me straight across for a new 6 person viking because the other one only lasted 3 hours and it was brand new. They told me no, but they said if you give us 2000.00 dollars more we will take the one you just bought yesterday from us and give you that one. The 6 person i just bought was brand new and and only had 16 miles on it and they wanted 2000.00 dollars more from me for the same utv. There customer service is a joke there service dept is a joke the owner really doesnt car how you are treated. I bought 6 units from them plus the other one for a total of 7 units at a cost of $94,500.00 and they treated me with no respect no customer service and I lost 10,000 of thousand of dollars because of lost time of these units in there service dept to fix them. Dont Buy From These Guys Ever.

I had spoken to Brad in sales regarding a used bike. I had found an ad on Craigslist advertising the bike for 600 less than their website. Brad agreed to honor the price and advised me to come in the next morning to purchase. When I arrived, I was told that someone had already put money down on the bike but if I wanted to pay full price, they would tell that guy that the bike wasnt for sale, even though he put money down. When I told them I was not interested in paying full price, they tried to put me in another used bike with twice the miles that had an obvious tick in the engine. Brad then tried to usher me into financing to sign papers on the bike that obviously needed mechanical work telling me that they would "look at the issues" while I was signing the papers. When I informed him that I was not going to purchase a bike that wasnt mechanically sound, he took me over to the service desk and the tech stated "I dont know what the ticking sound is, probably nothing." At this point, it was obvious that they were not a reputable dealership and I left. I have purchased bikes from Interstate Honda in Fort Collins and Colorado Motorsports in Northglenn. I would highly recommend anyone considering to come here to go to one of those other places instead.

This "Tri City Cycle" dealer ripped me off! Sold me a quad that was supposed to be in new condition with 316 miles on, but AS-IS of course. HA! This pile of crap has cost me over $1000 in repairs. 1.) No Tach and no battery charge = It needed a new stator. How can a dealer claim to have expert service and inspection and miss something like a bad stator? When I bought it I asked the service tech about it. He stated "Well the wrench icon disappears after the start-up cycle so that means everything is ok. "WARNING FLAG". I should of walked away from buying immediately. 2.) I drained the fluids. Every fluid in this machine was like sludge. The motor oil plug honestly had 1/2 inch of sludge stuck to it. I wont even go into what the differentials looked like. 3.) wheel bearing where shot (with 316 miles on it???) I took the front wheel off and the bearing race was completely broken in half. I can go on and on, but the bottom line is "BE VERY CAREFUL BEFORE BUYING FROM TRI CITY CYCLE" Getting your money in their pocket is the #1 priority here. Not customer service. Oh BTW I purchased this pile 10 months ago and because of its poor condition its now only has 322 miles on it. Every time I tried to ride it has broken down with a mechanical issue.

When I originally called to purchase a used motorcycle, I was bummed out that the one that I had found online was actually being sold right that minute. However, Brad (who is the online sales rep), recommended looking at another bike. I did and let him know that I would be coming that day to test ride/take a look at it. Worth the drive from Colorado Springs. When I got there, Brad had put a hold on the machine for me and had me test riding it in about 10 minutes. Once Id decided to buy, the entire process took a grand total of about an hour, during which time Brad had the mechanic gurus in back going over the bike for me one last time. They even helped me get my insurance documentation in pocket and ready to ride home. About a week after purchase, Brad called me just to check in and make sure everything was still good to go. Ive read some pretty horrible reviews about this place, but Ive found absolutely no substance or justification for them. Just go in knowing what you are trying to do, and please understand that this is a business...its how they make their living. They worked hard to make sure that I was pleased with my buying experience, and I am.
