I had a horrible experience here. I should never feel like I have to justify my ability to afford what I am shopping for, but I did here. I went in here as the store was opening on a weekday that I had off. A grey-haired sales associate with bedazzled cowgirl boots greeted me and treated me like a child, even asking if I was looking for "some big girl furniture" while I was looking for a new bed set. Admittedly, I look younger than I am, especially when dressed casually as I was, but that does not give a salesperson the right to belittle me or judge my spending power. When I mentioned I was looking for new furniture for a move my husband and I would be making for a job offer, she wrongly assumed we would be moving for his job. On my way out, I asked for a catalog because I did like the furniture despite the horrible service I received. I was told they do not have catalogs and that everything is available online. She did not give me her information or ask for mine for a follow-up. I cant even say that I was offended by how I was treated because it was so laughable. I did, however, call back to speak to a manager later that day. I was told the manager wouldnt be in until Thursday (2 days later) but that I could leave my number for him to call me back. I never received a call back. The sales associate made the number one mistake in sales: judging a book by its cover. As a result, I will not be returning or recommending Bassett to anyone. If Im spending a premium on a quality item, I expect the service to match.

I recently bought a new home and decided it was time for new furniture and accessories also. My interior designer at Bassett was Wallis Penton. She has fabulous ideas and is so fun to work with. With her artistic expertise, she guided me in making my home exactly how I had envisioned it. Everything fits together and compliments each other perfectly. I am thrilled and have received so many compliments on its great looks with a welcoming and warm feeling. Bassett Furniture sells quality, good looking, and unique furniture and other items. And Wallis is the best designer you will find. I rate this company and Walls an A+++.

She designed the layout of our spaces and then came up with the furniture and fabric choices that suited our vision perfectly. We picked out some of the pieces on our own, but Leslies input was always invaluable for making sure the house flowed and the colors and styles all worked together for a cohesive look. The beautiful furniture from Bassett, combined with the expert design services we received from Leslie, created a winning combination. Now my fiancé says our house rocks!
