***Final Update*** I have received reimbursement for the battery and they did the labor for free on my timing belt change, I just had to supply the parts. ***Update*** Rich has reached out to me to try and make this right. He is reimbursing me for the battery and offered to do my timing chain replacement including the labor for free (I have to pay for parts only). They are also looking into my DMV charges to see if they can get any of them reversed. I will make a final update when all is said and done and make a final edit to my review. *****BUYER BEWARE***** DO NOT BELIEVE "Demandforce" reviews as they are hand picked and every customer cannot leave a review on their site; they have to be chosen by the dealership and be sent an email in order to review the company. So in other words, if you were not happy with your service, you wouldnt get an opportunity to leave a review. This place just flips Subarus left and right. Youll see some older reviews that state "they forgot to tighten the lugs" and the guy who also had a ton of problems with his Subaru; I can tell you from personal experience you should BELIEVE THEM! All of the 4-5 star ratings must be for oil changes or extremely simple things because this place is the definition of sloppy and just reinstills why I do not like used car dealerships. Theyll buy them broke down at an extreme discount, do the absolute BARE MINIMUM to get them running and sell them at a premium claiming that all the work is done by a certified technician. I purchased a used car from Rocky Mountain ROOS and it had a laundry list of things wrong with it; if I wasnt mechanically inclined serious damage could have taken place. I have spent over 40 “Labor Hours” troubleshooting and over $500 in parts and ECU scanning. 1. My car is in “Limp Mode” only producing wastegate boost of 9psi; which means the system thinks something is wrong and limiting the boost as to not blow something up. 2. When I picked the vehicle up it needed a jump and they said it was because someone left the light on. Truth: It was the original battery that is supposed to last 5 yrs and was completely dead and read "bad" when I had it tested. 3. I was told that the broken E-Brake piece was "unavailable from the dealer so it could not be fixed." Truth: It was an added expense and the part is available from the dealer. 4. There was almost NO coolant in it at all. I had to fill it up twice and burp it for it to even show in the reservoir. There were multiple radiator leaks from bad hose clamps. 5. I was told that all the taxes and fees from the DMV were included in purchase price and that the license plates will only be a few dollars. Truth: It was $250+ for my plates. 6. The headlights leaked so badly that the lights barely looked like they were on in the rain and one of the bulbs wasnt even seated correctly in the headlight. 7. 4th gear had a intermittent grind. Fluid was BELOW the "Low" marker. 8. There was a boost leak, after further inspection it was from a stripped hose clamp from their "Subaru Technician" from when the turbo was fixed. 9. There is a leak from the turbo to the downpipe from a stripped stud in the turbo, also from when the turbo was changed. At this point the threads in the turbo are damaged and I am not sure how to fix this. All in all an inexperienced consumer could have caused serious damage from their lack of thoroughness when "flipping" this vehicle and considered it a lemon based on the problems that would have been created by their "certified technicians" thoughtless actions. This is exactly why I do not like to buy vehicles from dealers; their technicians cant even take the time to make sure the fluids are all topped off before the vehicle is put out for sale much less install a turbo without stripping 1 of 5 studs.

DEAR FELLOW SUBARU RIDERS - This place does NOT have your back. Dont let the cool name fool you. I went in to have my fuel pump inspected as a result of it not recieving fuel when refueling and starting roughly. The "subaru technician" basically told me i needed a new car because so much was wrong with it. This was laughable to me considering i just drove it through the entirety of Pike Ntl Forest without any hiccup or issue. I mean this guy tried to make it seem like i shouldnt be leaving the shop in my car. So after about 10 minutes of him using his scare tactics about my brake pads being low and that somehow that meant i needes new roters ???? (Luckily im not that gullible or else he wanted anywhere from 350$ - 1000$ +) i asked how much to fix the fuel issue and was told it was a 15 dollar part and would not take hardly any time to fix. In actuality i ended up paying 120$ for it AND IT STILL IS MESSED UP. The "subaru technician" didnt even test it to see that the problem is still the same as it was before i brought it in. By the time i was 3 hours away and refueled i figured out i spent 120$ on absolutely nothing. All in all a very poor service for a ridiculous rate disguised as a friendly mom and pop subaru specialist. For the love of Subarus DO NOT go to rocky mountain ripoffs. Oh and dont let the guy at the counter fool you. He plays friendly but hes clearly a republican out to make a buck on any gullible passerby. HOPE THIS SAVED YOU SOME TIME AND MONEY. SUB FOR LIFE

Edit: Most of the reviews below seem to be for the old shop / dealership that was here. Rocky Mountain Roos just recently moved here from Commerce City, so please look up their old location for other reviews Had a blown head gasket that Id ridden on for about a year, but let an oil change slip and the car managed to burn through its reserve and (though I didnt know it at the time) locked up my engine, hard. The Goodyear I towed it to didnt do engine work, but the technicians referred me to Rocky Mountain Roos, and they hauled it back to their shop. A quick look and they informed me of the need for a re-build. They quoted me a reasonable price and started work. It took a bit longer than expected due to difficulties with getting some parts in, but they were quick to inform me about the delays, and it only ended up being a couple more days. The final price was within 5% of their initial quote plus the additional parts (radiator + hose) they found along the way that needed replacing. I stopped by their shop once during the work, and the mechanic took me back to see the work in progress and to show me my original engine, as well as explaining the why and the how for future preventions. Very knowledgeable! Overall, I am more than satisfied with the results and cost. My car runs smoother now than I had ever seen/heard it before (bought at 100k, currently 160k).

All I can say is Im sorry I didnt read more of the poor reviews before purchasing a 2007 Subaru Outback. I too, bought a lemon, I drove it maybe 1000 miles before I needed to replace the engine. This sounds like a re-occurring theme at Rocky Mountain Roos. Warrens last words to me before I drove off the lot were, "You wont need any major car work done for at least 80,000 miles". The mechanic that is replacing my motor now, said he stopped doing business with Rocky Mountain Roos because they are so unethical. Its a terrible shame. On top of all of this, Rocky Mountain Roos mixed up my paperwork so I cant even properly register my car at the DMV. Its been over 2 months since the car was purchased. I feel as though something shady is happening at this establishment! DO NOT BUY FROM HERE!!
