This has been our neighborhood super market for over 25 years. The tear down and rebuild was a pain but we looked forward to the reopening with anticipation. Unfortunately, the friendly neighborhood market has become the cold corporate store with lots of merchandise that has nothing to do with groceries. The staff is great, as usual, but the other issues have us looking for a new place to shop. When the new store first opened, I asked the manager when they were going to put in the rest of the cart returns in the parking lot. After mentioning this several times, I gave up since theyre obviously not going to put in more cart returns. As a result, abandoned carts are constantly blocking parking spaces. Its very difficult to shop in the new store because employees and vendors are blocking most of the aisles stocking during the normal shopping hours. Ive complained and asked why they cant stock at night, like they did for decades, so shoppers can maneuver the aisles and get to the items we want. Might as well talk to the posts in the parking lot for all the good that does. It seems to be an insurmountable obstacle for them to stock the most basic of grocery items. Youd think that jumbo eggs, bread, and vanilla ice cream would be standard stuff but we find them out of stock most of the time. Of course, you can find about a dozen other obscure flavors of ice cream. The new self checkout machines are absolutely atrocious! Its impossible to check out as few as ten items without having the attendant reset the thing two or three times. Everyone who works there knows the new machines suck and management refuses to address the problems. The new store is certainly clean and well lit -- but that doesnt mean much when you cant buy standard grocery items.

I dont like to write bad reviews but this experience has been horrible with this king soopers. The other night I went and looked around the deli for a while trying to find something to eat. When I finally made my choice if the stuffed cabbage burgers from the deli a worker in the back saw me standing there, stopped doing his prep work and removed his gloves then came up to me with a smile and asked if he could get me anything, I said yes please then he replied to me sorry we closed at 9:00. I checked my clock it was 9:03. This would have been acceptable to me had he stayed where he was with his gloves on and simply told me they closed and apologized. There was strike one. Then after choosing a pre-packaged sandwich and potato salad I made my purchase. And I went to leave the building as I was walking another employee told me I couldnt use that door because it was closed, but Im not kidding when I say the door was LITERALLY wide open. Strike two. And finally, the sandwich and the potato salad were the only things that I had eaten that day, and the next day, lets just say I was very sick and leave it at that. All in all a miserable experience, I regret spending my money at this store and I intend on shopping at safe way from now on.

The staff makes this an enjoyable experience every time, except if youre in the produce section. The woman with the long blonde hair and the other woman with the short red hair are never in a good mood. It would be fair to say they avoid speaking with customers and pretend not to see you. The blonde haired woman is always talking to other employees from different parts of the store and just complaining about the company complaining about her job and its cringe-worthy for me to think about having to go in that department when they are working. Maybe theres a couple of gals that really need some time off. If by any chance you ladies end up reading this always remember it was your career choice that put you there, so quit having a crappy attitude at work and making those of us that pay to go there, uncomfortable.

I go here pretty often, but the other day I just could not find baking powder. They have a handy little chart of where stuff ought to be in one of the aisles, so I read that and moved to the proper aisle. Still no luck. I think its a boon to King Soopers that when I was finally able to overcome my embarrassment over not being able to find such a common item and asked someone she made light of it. She didnt treat me like I was an idiot for walking past the baking powder 3 or 4 times at least. She shuffled aside some of the featured products (which were a good deal - but I just didnt need them) and waved her hand over them like Vanna White. I sheepishly grabbed a can of baking powder and thanked her for dropping what she was doing and promptly helping me.

This particular King Soopers is modern without being overly gigantic like some of their newest stores. They have good prices and discounts on sale items are typically substantial - e.g. $2.99/lb London broil, w/Sooper Card, recently (first time Ive seen steak under $5+ in ages). Plus they have a Starbucks and gas station to complete the one-stop shopping experience. Special note regarding the Starbucks: This is my "usual" Starbucks for the afternoon and evening. This location has a veteran staff, offering drink knowledge and service on par with, if not better than, your nearest standalone Starbucks. In fact, I frequent this King Soopers above a closer location, as well as two closer Starbucks.

My shopping experiences at King Soopers has been enjoyable... Its very hard to shop sometimes, because I take my grandson who is disabled (mentally), but not in a wheelchair. He can be very vocal and say things that can be construed differently. My experience can be hard, but the Customer Service Reps have been accommodating in every way at the King Soopers stores we go to. They make it as if it were a small neighborhood market, although the 2 main locations we shop at are 2 of the busiest stores in Littleton, CO! If something is not right, the management team goes way above and beyond! THANK YOU, KING SOOPERS! C. Cooper, a native of Littleton

Its a beautiful location but they have THE WORST employees. The level of customer service is despicable. I have had front end, head clerks, and "managers" all be extremely rude and unhelpful from several negative experiences I could divulge. Specifical watch out for Melva unless you want rolling eyes and attitude when asking for assistance. Unless they do somthing massive to overhaul this problem they will have unfortunately soured my opinion of the entire Kroger company, and will not hessitate to tell any and everyone I know about this location. This is the absolute worst place u have ever been. There management is awful, and rude. I called and made sure when I went to kings they could handle my situation. But when I git there, they were rude and couldnt do as I asked. Even though I called and made sure there wouldnt be a problem..I spend so much money there, and for them to treat me with the disrespect hey did, I will never be going back. Oh and Im talking about there assistant store manager Debra. She needs an attitude adjustment.

So they have this tray there in the deli thats labeled "twice baked potatoes" but its always empty. Always. Been coming here once, maybe twice a week for years but they are never there. One time like 4 months ago they had one. One lonely potato. And I got it, and let my wife have it so I dont even know if they are any good. Lord knows I will keep trying though and maybe one day, Ill get to call one my own. Other then that though its a fine place to buy groceries.
