I have been going to this king soopers For a very long time because it was close to where I grew up and is now close to where I work. never had any problems. However last night my boyfriend needed some cigarettes and I need a couple of other items. My boyfriend then proceeded to ask the night manager to get the cigarettes out of the case which she ignored him, as she continued to gossip with a co-worker. As he is showing her his ID, she asks him if I have mine to. She was quite rude and obviously just wanTed to be a pain. we are both in our 20s, so I told her they were not me and gave us a rude, condescending attitude and kept smirking at us. Obviously she didnt need to see mine since I wasnt the one purchasing. I would have been ok with showing her my ID if it wasnt so clear that she was just trying to be pain. We left and took our business ELSEWHERE. They also need to inforce their dress code. This managers pants were so low that you could clearly see a large portion of her bottom. Her stomach was hanging out everywhere also. So gross. Never going back again, except for the Starbucks because its close to work and the friendly barista who are super quick!

Went to return a 10$ item. Out of the thousands of times ive been shopping there I had to return an item without a receipt, I realize that is an issue but if you cant do it then just dont. I was embarrassed in front of the whole store on 10-18-11. I went to the customer service desk and told them I didny have my receipt so they called the pharmacy to see if it had been purchased in the last three weeks and to look up the receipt which they did and was found in there system. As im waiting for a giftcard she says that I need to stop taking advantage of the store and this will not b tolerated and to never "try" this again as there where 4 customers right behind me. I have never returned anything before and dont make it a habit! Myself or none of my family will ever shop at any king soopers again! I have never been so disrespected at a place I have spent so much money at over the years. Dont shop here ever for there is no loyalty here and they will treat u like garbage thank you

My older sister who is 31 years of age went grocery shopping here one day our 16 year old sister was with her, as they live together. When checking out my older sisters husband called and asked her to pick him up some marlboro lights, she asked for them and the clerk asked for her id ofcourse which is fine, and then asked to see the younger sisters id, well she just turned 16 the day before, and moved here from NY the day before that, the kid doesnt even have a school id-they would not sell the cigs to my sister because she was accompanied by our younger sister who she has guardianship and custody of. (as if she would be permitted to smoke at the age of 16-not in our family) Annoying, even the manager didnt do a thing, and they were very rude about it all, so does this mean that when we have kids we have to take them home and then go back out to get smokes?

If a half star was available, that is what I would give this store. We have been shopping here for 15 years. In the last two years service has gone downhill. The customer service as well as the managers are horrible and rude. Special orders are often not correct, missing bags, broken items from poor bagging and cashiers that simply dislike people or their jobs. After being treated like it was somehow our fault they messed up the special order for a birthday, we are done. We have called corporate half dozen times, nothing happens and they never respond should you email them. I moved all our prescriptions and we are done with all Kings Soopers. They just dont care anymore.

King Soopers used to guarantee accuracy when a product was scanned or the product would be free . They used to have impeccable service and double coupons. I am appalled at how incompetence and being overcharged has just become the norm. My steak scanned for 50 dollars over the amount and when it was eventually addressed it still wasnt the soopercard sale price. The u scan was the only line open and I had to wait in line for one to open for around 25 minutes because 2 of them werent in service. I expect this from Walmart and Safeway but I actually feel betrayed when I get this from a business that used to have reliable service.

My usual groceries are always in stock and the deli has a great selection. The staff is friendly, especially the cashiers. They do pull some of the non-dairy products here and there (probably due to low sales) which is disappointing, but at the end of the day they are a business and shelf space is a premium... no reason to drop a star. They do carry an awesome assortment of almond-milk ice cream which is delicious, the peanut butter one and the chocolate one dont even taste like a dairy alternative! There is an in-store Starbucks as well with a large seating area by the deli (at the front of the store near the cheeses).

This is the best King Soopers in the area. They have the most fresh, diverse, and well-stocked produce section. They have a great olive bar that also is well-stocked and fresh. They have an actual kitchen supply area for those times youve realized you dont have a casserole dish or you broke your spatula. They have a decently stocked specialty isle for vegan foods and Asian cooking supplies. Overall, I drive past three other King Soopers to come to this place because its reliably stocked and fresh. The employees are pretty consistently friendly and helpful too :)

This review is regarding one of the employees at King Sooper in Broomfield. His name is Chris and he works in the Deli/Meat Dept. Chris has gone out of his way several times to prepare a special chicken recipe that came from his Grandmother. He flash fries the chicken and then sets it up to take home and steam for at least 4 hours. Now this chicken is no ordinary chicken and everyone flips for it. I especially want to thank Chris for such exceptional service and now my Grandkids think this is MY Chicken recipe. Thanks Chris!

This king soopers is sacrificing customer service and customer experience to minimize labor costs. Case in point there were 10 separate self serve checkouts happening and no full serve checkout lanes. Additionally there was one person serving all 10 self serve stations. Inevitably there is a problem and all 10 stations crashed and burned. It took us as long to check out as it did to shop. Dear KS management, If you keep wasting my time like this i will quit giving you my business. Please readjust staffing levels.

The store is awesome however.... do NOT go at night. I waited in line for 20 minutes to check out. No exaggeration. It was awful. The manager walked past me 3 or 4 times and would not open a new check out line. He didnt even say anything. So, the store was nice and clean but wow... they really understaff early evening. (7pm-9pm)
