Horrible customer service at this location! I visited this location on Aug 6th, 2016 to make an exchange. I collect the Barnes and Noble leatherbound collectors editions and have about 35 of them. I accidentally purchased a duplicate of "Tarzan of the Apes" on my previous visit and so went in to exchange it for another one that I didnt have. I wasnt looking for a refund, just an exchange. I did not have the receipt, but the book was still fully wrapped in its original plastic wrap with original Barnes and Noble pricetag and stickers. Customer service told me that I could make the exchange and they would just look up the purchase with my Barnes and Noble membership number. When I went to make the exchange I was informed that they couldnt find the purchase on my account and that the history frequently gets deleted. The cashier was very nice about it and again said that it shouldnt be a problem, but he just had to get manager approval. He calls the manager up (John) and he refuses to make the exchange. He was rude and dismissive and completely unwilling to help. Its a B&N book, in original packaging, with original tags....just looking for an exchange...how difficult is that?!? Customer service didnt see it as an issue...the cashier didnt see it as an issue...yet John just couldnt see fit to make it happen. I have been a long standing customer with Barnes and Noble, having purchased some 35 of these collectors editions at this location as well as hundreds of other books over the years. I wont be back to this location because of their absolutely ridiculous and uncaring customer service. Brick and mortar book stores have been hurting over the years as people transition to electronic books...you guys should really focus on keeping the customers you have.

I love bookstores. This is an awesome place to grab a coffee (Starbucks is inside with a large sitting area) and catch up on some magazine reading. There is a really big childrens books section (it is sectioned off) with a cool reading area stage. I dont think that stage is meant for anything else other than reading stories to kids but my own little rascals like to put on spontaneous plays when I have my back turned. So, in a way, this place offers cheap entertainment. Oh, and during the school hear, if you sit in the Starbucks area, you can hear wannabe poetic writers (meeting together for study) vocalizing their latest musings to their group. Bring a dictionary and a thesaurus because they like to use big words to perhaps let the world know (or Barnes & Noble patrons) that they are smart. Some of them are pretty funny though. Lots of books, of course, but there is a cool educational toy section that my kids occupy themselves with while I amuse myself by poking fun at the latest tween vampire/werewolf/pixy/elemental book series. All-in-all, this is a great place to kill some time.

Love this store. I had a hard time finding a couple of adult coloring books for a reasonable price online and found that one of the two I was looking for was in stock here. I call and not only did they have BOTH (one of them quite rare to find even online!) that I was searching for, they were both on clearance as well! I would have spent twice as much online and that doesnt even include the $8 shipping I would have had to spend for both as well, and that was for used versions! (Which I really didnt want to buy used coloring books online, what if they were almost totally colored in?) They also agreed to hold them for me for a couple extra days since they were on clearance but I had to go get them immediately so it was not necessary! I do wish they wouldnt push the membership quite so hard at the checkout counter, even though I know its definitely worth the money for a lot of people the last time I bought one I only used it once or twice. All in all though, an unexpected pleasure to visit this store!

My mother gave me a few books that I already owned for Christmas so I came in to trade them in and get different books. The man that helped me was rather rude and first refused to even let me trade them in. After aruging with him for a few minutes he finally agreed. So I went to start looking for the books I had wanted to trade them for. The man walked up and informed me that the books had been damaged and therefore he would not take them. I asked to see a manager and he informed me that he was the manager. Worst experience ever. Took my books and left. Would not recommend this store to anyone.

An outstanding place to get lost all day in, at least for a book lover like me. Most of the time the new release books are cover price, but they do have a ton of bargains and sales as well. We have been members for years and always get our rewards, and we are also Kids Club members, both systems are solid and not glitchy. So glad B & N is still going strong. They often have special events, so it pays to stay in touch. The kids story times are very well done, the folks who do them are super nice. The staff in general is nice and helpful. An A plus place in my book, pun intended ;)

I couldnt tell if it was a book store or a toy store selling some books. The selection of books was poor. I spent 30 minutes looking for a book on geography and couldnt find it. When I went to ask for assistance most if not all of the employees were no where to be found. I observed them ignoring most people and only helping young females. I stood at the help desk for 10 minutes and they assisted everyone but me. Not sure if it was because I was a male or because of my skin color. Either way I will never shop here again and will encourage people to shop with amazon from now on.

The short, squat, blonde woman who was organizing the Harry Potter event is the reason Im leaving this bad review. Didnt get her name but Umbridge incarnate seems fitting. I waited patiently, for 20 minutes, in this hot, packed, stuffy store. I was waiting for a poster only to have her make eye contact with me, and immediately give the last several posters to the people BEHIND ME who had arrived in the line after I had. Im a grad student who spends a LOT of money on books but guess which store will not see my business ever again? Amazon, here I come.

Nice store, very clean and well-organized. They had lots of toys and books to choose from, and my daughter loved the childrens book section. We browsed happily for four hours and could have spent longer there. The staff were helpful and friendly and we were only asked once if we needed help (which I look at as a positive, as I prefer to ask for help if I need it). The restroom was clean and I enjoyed my visit. Ill definitely be heading back once I decide what Im going to buy.

Your typical B&N. The super overpriced toys for otaku man boys draw my kids attention which makes for occasional tantrums because we cant buy a $90 action figure. If you like to show off your iThings by conspicuous Facebooking or working on your University of Phoenix group project you are in good company over at the not-quite a Starbucks area. Helpful staff.
