I believe that I am slanted in my rating of this book store. I am trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, although after one terrible experience, it is difficult! My wife called to complain and they said that they wanted to give us a credit. We did not want "free stuff" only to not be berated in front of others for doing nothing wrong. We heard that Sunday is the only day that this particular sales person works. Although Sunday is a good day for going to the Book Rack, I will not be visiting any Sunday soon. I will give the store another try, but it will have to be on a day other than Sunday. I hope that the management will respond to this and the last review by initiating some customer service training, but we will see. We will be watching and in the process collecting our "free stuff". I suppose I have already spent my opportunity dollars, I might as well collect for my troubles.

Decent selection, though mostly romance and mass paperback crime novels. Prices are as expected of a used bookstore trying to keep the lights on. However, the slightly odd staff (with the addition of the store gerbil) were a bit off putting. Great loyalty program, though.

I agree with the last review. I too visited the establishment on a Sunday and was astonished at the rudeness of the salesperson. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt as well, but this person was outright mean.

The 1825 founded book store specializes in antique books and is right in Denver. The two-floor book store houses both used and new titles. Head on outside for discounted books that are as low as 3 bucks each.

Wonderful local used bookstore. Staff was great, helped me find one book and put me on hold for another when it comes in. Also found out I can order new books at a discount. Whole-heartily recommend.

superb paperback scifi section. Great buyback program that builds credit for new purchases. Buy 20 books for 20 buck for no reason!
