My husband and I bought our Chevy Avalanche from Len Lyall back in July and at first we were excited because of the great deal we received. Let me just say that this is the first time weve bought a car period. Any other time my parents or his parents have helped us so we were pretty much clueless. We bought the vehicle and drove it home that day. Well two weeks later my husbands friend came out to visit and he had planned a camping trip in the mountains for them. He decided to try switching it to 4- wheel drive before he headed out of town. Well something was wrong and it got stuck in four low which didnt allow him to go any faster than 35 MPH. So we drove it back in and they took a look and said that there was something wrong with the electrical system so it wasnt diverting enough power(im not exactly sure about the technical terms, I dont really know cars) but they switched it out of four low and back into 2-wheel drive. We brought it back the following week and dropped it off to be fixed. When we picked it up the dealership split the cost with us so we paid $200 for them to rebuild part of the electrical system and they had to replace the front differential Fast forward to August now we were driving on the highway and notice that there wasnt enough power when we pressed on the gas. When we stepped on it the engine would rev and go up in RPMS but the speedometer wouldnt change, so when flooring it maybe at tops we could get 40 mph. Also there was a really bad squeaking sound and a grinding sound coming from the brakes. So we took it in. Well turns out that the rotors were rusted and given that we were out of town in a small little town with only one mechanic he didnt have the right rotors to replace them so the best he could do was grind them down to where there wasnt rust and replace the brake pads. The engine problem was due to the air intake system was dirty, some how it had clogged up and the engine wasnt pulling enough air. So he blew the system out and got the truck working enough for us to get home. When we got home we figured hey, if they sold us a used car shouldnt they have done a multi-point inspection on the vehicle? Maybe they might not have caught the air intake system problem, but the brake pads being nearly gone and the rotors being rusted they should have noticed right? Well so I called the maintenance and they said they didnt have anything to do with the multi-point inspection so they transferred me over to sales. They said they took the vehicle to a third party to do the inspection and they would get back to me on it because they had to track down the paperwork and theyd call me back. They didnt so I gave them the benefit of the doubt considering I called on a Friday, so i called again and someone else told me the same thing, instead of letting them get back to me on it(it being a Tuesday) I said I would be down to pick it up on Thursday so they had two days to find the paperwork or proof that they had the inspection done. Well Thursday I go down and they dont have anything for me, other than something was mixed up and sorry but we dont have anything for you, but they were positive it was done. Today we dropped our truck off at a private mechanic because we are now getting a 4-wheel drive warning light, weve noticed a leak from the front differential and the truck is having a hard time starting up. Well see what more we need to put into the truck now. EDIT: 12/1/2014 After reading my review the general manager of Len Lyall gave me a call just to try to figure out what happened with our experience. Since my post weve taken our truck back in and theyve replaced/fixed the issues weve been having. Overall were much happier with the service at Len Lyall.

I highly recommend this dealership for your car buying business. Ask for Bill Garcia, thats the salesman I worked with to buy my very first brand new vehicle, the Chevy sonic. Not only was he knowledgeable about his cars, he was thorough and most importantly, honest! I came to this dealership with another car in mind and he told me everything about the vehicle I needed to know as a buyer. I am sure he could have made more money off of me with selling me the car I was interested in however he directed me to a car that was more reliable, better on gas, more efficient for my life and my wallet. I have bought used cars from other dealerships such as family trucks and vans, the sharpest rides and they were the worst nightmare to deal with and I was sold attractive looking junk. Mr. Garcia was communicative, honest, personable and had integrity! Oh my god can a salesman actually have a soul?! He even brought the car to me for a test drive to accommodate my hectic work schedule and had all the paperwork ready for me when I arrived at the dealership. The car was cleaned and prepped superbly for me to drive home in and he even took the time to walk me through the instruments in my new car. The first week I had the vehicle we had a huge snow week here in Colorado and I used all my window washer fluid. Mr. Garcia called me personally since my onstar informed the dealership and told me to come in and he had the service department fill up my washer fluid for me, it took 5 minutes and I was taken care of. I will definitely refer his business to anyone, you can tell he is a good family guy who actually cares about what he does, not just about making money or selling you the highest profit vehicle. He promised me it would be the easiest process Ive ever gone through and he kept his word. He even followed up with me to see how I was enjoying my new car and asked if I needed anything or had questions. Thats real customer service! Go see Bill Garcia! Finally someone restored my faith in car salesmen.

I purchased a used BMW X5 from Len Lyall. I was told the vehicle had been through thier shop and was in top condition and they would get me an owners manual and that the spare key (BMW keys $350. to $450.) was available from the previous owner. After getting the car home and checking it out, I couldnt find a spare tire. I called my sales rep. (Christian) and left a couple messages asking him to please return my call. I then called a BMW deakership and found that the vehicle uses run flat tires (these were not) because there is no place to store a spare tire. After a week and not getting a return call from Christian, I called Len Lyall and asked to speak to to the sales manager (Manny). He initially said he couldnt help me but after I threatened to post a review he offered to get me $400. toward a set of $1000. run flat tires. I agreed and I reminded him that Christian said he would get me an owner manual and the spare key. After a week I got the $400. check toward tires, and after another week I got an owners manual but no key. A couple more weeks and still no key, I called and left another message for Christian, but after a couple days and no return call I called the dealer ship and had Christian paged and asked about the key. He said the prev. owner had been out of town and he hadnt got the key but would keep me posted. That was three weeks ago. I called and left Christian another message yesterday and still no return call (very rude). Today I called Manny (sales manager) and after a couple hours he returned my call and basically said after 7 weeks they reached out to the prev. owner and he couldnt be bothered, the key is not available. Im 65 years old and this has been the worst buying experience Ive ever had. Youre told what you want to hear to make the sale, then after they get your money its go away, we dont want to hear it. My advise is take your time, get everything in writing, you cant trust thier word!
