UPDATE: AFTER 3 MONTHS I RECEIVED ANOTHER REQUEST TO RATE THIS COMPANY. THIS IS MY EXPERIENCE IN TOTAL WITH THIS COMPANY. Are you kidding me? After 4 visits to your body shop I was forced to send my car to ABRA to get the work you completed fixed. What was your excuse for this? Your excuse was that GM quality just doesnt match up to my expectation. ABRAs quality sure did. But you left 1/4 to 1/2 inch gaps between the body panels and said that was in GM specs and there was nothing you could do. You stated that when you painted over scratches caused by the accident I was in, it was pre-existing. You used a door that was full of sand as my replacement part. I assume you got it from a flood vehicle. I had to have ABRA fix the window because it squealed when I would roll it up or down after your work was completed. They replacement mirror you put on my car was used and was pitted. Parts of the reflective coating was missing from the mirror so it had dark spots in it. ABRA installed a new one that looks much better. I had to return my car to have the front windshield reinstalled because your first attempt left leaks that made it whistle when I drove the car. I would assume this means you didnt even test drive it when you completed it. Not one time did I have a person present me my car and allow me to inspect the work. All four times I brought it in, you had a lot hand give me the keys and drive off. The paint is off color and ABRA had to repaint the front fender to fix the damage you left behind and to match the color. I have learned that I will never go to a GM dealership again for work. You are substandard, over priced, and never did get the work done correctly. I asked to speak to your General Manager and all communications stopped. I asked to have the car fixed properly and you stated that I was asking for things that didnt meet GM standards. All in all, your representation of GM and their product is very poor. This was the worst experience of my life in this type of service. My accident happened in March and three months later I have found someone that is still fixing your mistakes. Go away. I dont need your service ever again. Although I am the customer, your body shop did not check my vehicle for problems and suggest what needed to be fixed. Instead you completed the work that Progressive suggested. My alignment is still off after the accident and I now understand that your shop did not inspect any of the mechanics of the front end. You simply patched up the visual damage and got Progressive off the hook for as little as possible. You forgot I was the customer and not Progressive. I was never contacted by your shop to approve the work that was being completed on my car. You simply focused on what Progressive wanted. It is pretty obvious you are there to do as little work as possible and not assess the damages to give a fair and accurate repair, you are there to help Progressive save money. You put on 5 year old parts from another vehicle that I have no idea what damage could have been done to it without giving me the option for after market parts. My preference was OEM parts that were not used. I may have paid more to get this work completed. You did not do a final inspection with me. You simply had a lot driver give me the keys and I was out the door. As I drove home, I could hear air whistling through the seal on the new door. Visually the car looks fine, but you have made it obvious I was not your customer, Progressive was.

I am extremely disappointed with the experience that I recently had at the Ed Bozarth in Aurora. About a week before I brought my vehicle in to get it checked out, the check engine light came on. As soon as I noticed the check engine light I brought it to the closest Oriellys Auto Parts and had the engine codes read to make sure it was nothing serious. The codes were for the steering wheel position sensor, the abs, and the stabilitrack. I made an appointment to bring it to the dealership to get this fixed about a week later and as I was driving it to the dealership the engine light went off. I showed up and spoke with Conor (sorry I dont remember his last name) and told him the whole story with the check engine light. He grabbed a scanner and said that there was code coming up for low efficiency for the catalytic converter on bank 1. He didnt mention anything about the steering wheel position sensor and the other codes even though I brought it up to him. He told me that they needed to have the vehicle over the weekend to run a diagnosis and make sure that the catalytic converter was the problem so I left my vehicle there for 4 days. Conor calls me Monday morning and tells me that it is for sure the catalytic converter and that the total cost is going to be $1800 and it will take about an hour and a half to fix it. At this point I was pissed. He didnt even look into the other problem I was having with the vehicle that I told him I was bringing it in for and is now trying to get me to pay $1800 for something that I can fix myself for $300. I told him that I wasnt going to pay that and that I was going to just come pick up my vehicle. He then tells me that I now owe $100 for a diagnosis fee because the part that is bad on my vehicle isnt covered under my warranty through century. If he would have taken a look at the steering wheel position sensor like I asked him to I wouldnt have had to pay the diagnosis fee because its covered under my warranty. What makes me even more mad is that after getting my vehicle back and taking it to a different mechanic I found out that the catalytic converter wasnt even bad. It turns out that it was an O2 sensor that was causing the code. THIS IS A $50 PART NOT EVEN CLOSE TO $1800. After all this I will absolutely never recommend an Ed Bozarth to friends or family. They are a scam just trying to get as much money as possible from you even after you spend over $20000 on a vehicle with an extended warranty. This is the worst experience I have every had with any dealership.

This review is for the service department. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of communication and the poor service I have received. I brought my new van in for a oil change that was part of the maintenance package that was included with the purchase of the new van and when I came to pick it up it had body damage to the passenger side that was not there when I dropped it off. Ed Bozarth did except responsibility and took care of the damage but I was out of a van for 10 days! They did not even say sorry or offer a loner for my inconvenience. This is the first problem I had with the service department. So I thought I would give them a second try. My power steering Pump was noisy so they replaced it under warranty. 800 - 1000 miles later the pump is noisy again. They apologized and said it was low on fluid. The pump is still noisy and have taken it back two more times for this issue and every time they say its just low on fluid. I still have yet to get this issue resolved and just get a BS story firm the service guys. Third trip power steering pump still noisy, vibration in the drive line, transmission problems, service Stabilitrak and traction control light on and bad oder coming from ac. This van only has a little over 10,000 miles on it at this point. They had my van for three weeks I had to keep calling to see the status of my van and it would take two to three days to get a call back. When they would finally call no one could tell me where they were at with my van. So after three weeks the only issue they fixed was the oder coming from the ac. For all of my other complaints there exact words were " we will have to wait for a catastrophic failure before we can move forward with any repairs" so in other words my safety and the people around me safety is not a concern for the folks at ED BOZARTH CHEVROLET! let me tell you 4 months later the van had a catastrophic failure! And ed Bozarth Chevrolet on Havana was the last place I wanted to take my van to. I took it to a dealership across town and not only did they get every issue resolved they gave me a loaner and coumicated through out the whole process. I am blown away by the difference in customer service from one dealer ship to another. At ed Bozarth on Havana when you walk into the service department you fell very unwelcome and they ignore you. This is my experience every time with ed Bozarth on Havana. If you by a new vehicle from ed Bozarth on Havana I would highly recommend taking it somewhere else to get serviced.
