I went to the store in Huntington Park to change my cars battery. They wanted me to go somewhere else to check if it was the battery that needed to be changed. I already knew i needed to change my battery. I feel that the store in Huntington Park needs to have technicians or workers like Mike Khaleel who know what they are doing. After i told them that I want it the battery they told me that they were not gonna install it for me because they were afraid my car wouldnt turn on because the computer of the car was going to need to be restarted. I was about to leave when someone that also was leaving heard how hard it was to turn on my car. Hes name is Mike Khaleel. He told me that i needed to change that battery ASAP because i could damage my starter. I explained to him the situation and he told me that i couldnt keep my car like that. i told him that they didnt wanna change it for me and he told me that he works in an AutoZone too, this one in Westminster, and that he would change it for me because he usually does this at his job. He went inside and got me what he thought was best for me. He got me the Duralast better for 5 years. He changed it for me. Even though he was mad at the situation because the workers and manager didnt wanna help me, he did it with so much care and he was super nice with me like if he was working. Now that i know where he works i Would definitely go to this store in 6611 Westminster ave. Westminster, ca. I still cant believe he gave me his service even though he didnt have to. He was such a nice man. I definitely recommend him. Just think about this: if he gave me such excellent service when he didnt have to, when he wasnt working nor getting paid, what kind if service can he give you when he is actually working? I love auto zone, I use them for all of my automotive needs, and wants. But, this location has some, lets say "interesting" for a lack of nicer words, female associates. Personally, Im happy the automotive industry is widening their horizons with who they hire. But theres a certain extent. Every single time I go in or call, I always get "idk" or "what is that?" And very half assed attempts at looking at parts for me. You shouldnt hire someone, have them for what I could tell as close to two years, and still be just as useless as the first day they were hired. Its not only frustrating, but someone whom truly has a passion for the automotive industry, and the parts deserves the job a lot more. First rule of business is always hire someone with potential. Not someone to make that location lose business and start to make the reputation dwindle. Please hire someone with a little more common sense and maybe a faster learning rate. Thanks.

Rude people i walked in and the guy in the front waited 5 mins to talk to me and told me that it takes about an hour to recharge a battery and i have to take them out myself I cant even carry a battery sounds like he was being lazy to me . All he did was count coins while I stood there waiting for nothing

Its useful if I need new oil for an oil change and has tools I need to do maintenance on my car and the employee is average beware RICERS are here sometimes and you see them around this part of the city because of this store and the store across from it
