I have been shopping here for years and generally dont have a problem with it (other than overcharging). That said, I have told the employees and a supervisor about their deceptive sales of the California coleslaw in the deli section. It is $4.99 a pound at the counter, but in the pre-packaged shelf area, they sell 8 ounce containers as "2 for $7". That makes it +$2.01 a pound! Often they are out of it at the counter and refer customers to the pre-packaged slaw. They always express "surprise" that it is different, but do nothing to correct it. Only Whole Foods in the area that does this as far as I know, so I can only blame the management. Now when they are out at the counter, I bring the pre-packaged containers to the counter and make them repackage and weigh it. Double check the pricing of anything you buy here. Also, many of the packaged brand items like the TV dinners and ice cream are cheaper and available at Safeway.

Theyre charging you for bringing your own bags now. Debra told me off and said I didnt know what I was talking about. Then customer service took her side saying I should relax. Tell me why I should relax when I just got told off for being charged for bringing my own bags. I explained to her credit the bags I bring and then donate the money. So here at the Walnut Creek Whole Foods check your receipts because you may be paying for the bags you bring in instead of donating the bag credits you shouldve recieved. Screw this store for giving me attitude for being a patron and knowing how the system works. I love between this and another health food store and everyone is friendly there. 3-11-17 5:02 pm

My parents ordered four dessert platters a month ago to pick up 12/22. Upon arrival, they learned that AFTER making their online purchase, what constitutes a dessert platter has changed. Instead of being a party platter of desserts it changed to just TWO! The employee instead of making it right and honoring what my parents had paid for, printed off the NEW description and showed it to them. My parents just accepted this and walked out. As someone in a retail management team, this customer service is terrible and the refusal to make things right and honor the agreement upon purchase is probably not even legal. Extremely dissatisfied.

Aka "whole paycheck", as I often get stuff on sale and go TJs to finished off list. Back a few years ago, I sat in front watching people go in and out. What I discovered, is that those that do shop here has that look at me, this is where I shop at. Prestige and integrity does funny things to people. Saw a guy pulls up with a top-of-the-line benz. Later he came out with one bag in hand then I saw same guy at gas station handing five bucks pump #2. This goes to show some will try harder to impress with not much of what they have. Better eat those fruits they sliced up in those half dome sample platter to get your money worth.

Excellent selection of organic produce, grains, eggs & daily products. They sell whole-wheat pasta under their own brand for just $1.39 a pound. I also like their bar displaying specialty salads and cold dishes they make in-house — though its rather pricy. The store seems well managed and maintained, with high morale among the workers. And you can supplement your shopping experience with a quality deep-tissue massage: Christina Mulhall, certified massage therapist, offers chair massages for a reasonable price in her booth near the customer service counter every Sunday, Monday and Friday afternoon.

If youre a hipster or foodie that loves words like vegan, organic, gluten free and whole grain, all natural everything free and such, this is the place for you. Expect to pay two to three times as much for anything here as you would in a regular grocery store. Café and soups are good, nice beer and wine selection, and fruits and fresh produce are outstanding, if you can afford it. Store is always clean, staff is always friendly. For the prices you pay here, they know they better be.

I love shopping here. Even though the location on Ygnacio Valley is more convenient for me, this store has a slightly different selection of product and I tend to find what I need or want every time. The butcher crew is very friendly and we really enjoy getting salads at the salad bar along with a slice of fresh baked pizza or a sandwich. The parking lot here will forever be a challenge, but its not a deterrent to shopping at this store.

OK, not happy they are the only large chain Ive come across THAT DOES NOT ACCEPT CHECKS for payment (period, for any amount!). Im no luddite, but this is not providing customer service. Instead of providing convenience and payment options for their customers, they instead chose to make things convenient for themselves at the expense of customers. Well, I will curtail my Whole Foods shopping in response. SU WF!

Although walnut Creek is over crowded and highly conjested, I do like this store. You can get just about everything you want here. Great desserts, fresh made pizza, burritos, sandwiches are.just a few things I love. BEER! Awesome selection of beers and wines.

Well kept grocery store with all the specialty items you would look for. A nice seafood section. An excellent source for sustainably source or grass fed meats. However, the parking lot is a DISASTER and not well designed.

Way too Pricey for most items! Its like designer prices for same quality you can find else where for way less, you just have to know where to go. I am never really impressed when I go in there.

Overpriced and has worse variety of goods than other Whole Foods markets. Recently they almost doubled prices for Acme Bread, though other stores around have old prices

Small WF without much selection. No restaurant. Slow but friendly service. Low on staff. If it wasnt the closest one to me by 30 miles I would go somewhere else.

Smaller than most Whole Foods, and with insufficient parking, the only advantage of this Whole Foods is proximity to southern downtown Walnut Creek.

Some of the best customer service and high quality products in the area. Parking can be tough, dont go around 3pm school days, it is a zoo of cars.

Its a smaller whole foods compared to the other ones in Lafayette and Oakland. Tiny salad bar and prepared food, but good Allegro coffee bar.

Easily the best grocery store in Walnut Creek. Cheese and olives selection is quite impressive and they always have fresh fruits and veggies

Clean store. Professional staff. Prepared food too bland for me so I take home and add more flavoring. Pricey but you get what you pay for.
