I used to come here more often until they opened New Sang Chong on Doolittle by the airport. This place has the basic stuff but fresh fish is pretty sad, the take-outs are also pretty sad. Never tried their roast duck, never trust any hot deli that dont get lots of traffic, food sitting there for who knows how long. Dim-sum (limited offering) look OK but you have to time it, by the afternoon the items maybe sitting there for a few hours. There is another dim-sum place next door. I used to come here for cheap choc (porridge) but they jacked up the price big time and the service is very slow, so now I just patronize the place next door for choc.

Use to do grocery at Pacific Ranch and I was sum like satisfied, I liked it there. Then I tried this store based upon the recommendation of someone, and it just lit up my eyes with all the seafood they offer. The Produce section is well stacked and variations of fruits and vegetables is impeccable. All the stuff I need is here with brands straight from the island and then some. They offer food to go in different menu which for $5 is enormous and making me dose off afterwards. Sum like the Gran Daddy of Asian Market around neck of the wood.

I got to this place at 7:35pm and I hated to say that those butcher all have very very bad attitudes, especially that white hair Filipino man, dont want to sell you any meats, bc they are about to close. And I found out he is the manager for that butcher section. Also the Chinese guy at the register asked for extra10 cent bc I have double the clear plastic bag for death fishes. I feel sorry for the owner for loosing their business over something like this issues. Never come back.

Ive actually been here many times usually just for seafood like shrimp, fish, or crab. They have a good selection of Asian groceries and fresh seafood, obviously this makes it a little sticky lol but other than that its a great place to get some fish or a box of ramen you wouldnt be able to find at any other big chain stores.

Asian grocery store; prices arent necessarily or particularly great, but produce quality and price is at least better than Safeway. Cleanliness is okay, the seafood area does not smell so bad. However, I think there are a few more grocery stores in San Leandro i would recommend before this one.

They sell a variety of Asian products here. If youre looking for anything related to Asian cuisine or ingredients, they mostly likely will have it here. You can also order take out here. Their fried fish is super delicious. They also package their own dim sum for you to take home and steam.

Terrific prices and the only place I can find "recao" for authentic Puerto Rican sofrito. Also a fun place to browse / buy produce youve never heard of. Seasonal veggies are 10 - 30% cheaper than chain markets; whats not to love?!
