Im very disappointed with Sprouts(Walnut Creek). Im not normally one to post or even post negative reviews because I know whats its like on the business end. Its horrible when someone post bad feedback for a business but........this is a warranted negative review and gave them 3 chances. The last 3 times I went to sprouts, the fruit was rotten and moldy. You would never think that would happen but it was. The first time I went, 3/4 of the bagged greens were expired, Not rotten that day, just most was expired. I reported it to an employee, didnt act surprised or like he cared so I reported it to the manager. Apologized about it and assured it would never happen again. Told my self I wouldnt go back. Ended up going back about 2 months later, greens were OK but the raspberrys were rotten and molded and so were the blueberries. I was very aerated because I gave them a second chance and failed again. I was cool and reported it again and same story, they were sorry and bla bla bla. I told my self never will I go back. Sure enough, I contemplate going back about 3 month after that because they are so dam convenient to my home and business. Check the fruit and guess what!! Moldy fruit again!!! I was cool again and show a stocking employee and he apologized but you can tell he was not going to tell anyone who really cared. I went to the manager and was respectful but direct explaining the whole situation and all the experiences I had. I explained that they need to bring these things up during there meetings and address them immediately. I wanted to do my fruit shopping there but never will because its always rotten or expired. Not everything but some of the produce I buy and thats disappointing to me. I will continue going to Costco to get my fruits and veggies. Some fruit is borderline spoiled at Costco too but not very often. LOOK CLOSELY AND UNDER NEATH!! I will go back to sprouts, just NEVER buy produce! Get it together Sprouts PLEASE......for the same of your neighborhood customers!

This is about as "mixed bag" as it gets. The store has a great selection of health conscious foods including many items for special diets and is very vegetarian/vegan friendly. These items come at just about the best prices offered and produce is very well maintained. However, the staff could use some drastic retraining... Both my fiance and I have literally been laughed at or mocked on separate occasions for asking for vegetarian faux meat products. To be clear sprouts sells tons of these products and specially advertises and caters to vegetarians. Yet somehow their staff thinks its a appropriate to respond to a request for faux chicken with "what like not real meat? Haha!" Staff is consistently on some alternate dimension from what most people expect from manners and service. On my last visit and was rung up by "Miki" who was quite frankly psychotic. She actually yelled at the elderly customer in front of me and refused to ring up any of her items furiously yelling "GIVE IT TO ME, HAND IT TO ME! CMON IM WAITING!" She wanted the customer to hand her their reusable shopping bag to pack before even ringing her up but the woman had no idea what she was talking about and the rest of us in line were shocked. I really think an employee should be let go for this kind of rudeness but apparently Sprouts feels differently.

They have a great selection of items. I love how its all fairly priced compared to Trader Joes and Whole Foods. Today was a crappy experience at Checkout. My cashier Shelia thought it was necessary to toss my items down the coveyor belt and knock the individual zevias over with the avocado and just kept tossing the rest of the stuff into everything. Youd think she would be a little more careful. Who wants bruised fruits and vegetables and shaken up sodas. I like the food. Customer service sucked today. IF I go back I will be avoiding SHELIA. If youre having a bad day, dont take your attitude to work.

This place is great and affordable! My favorite Noosa yogurt is a $1 cheaper here than anywhere else, and since I buy 8-10 at any one time, this saves me $8-$10! Also, their pre-made dishes are sooo yummy. I buy them and have them for lunch at work, which basically ends up being $4-$6 per lunch, which is half the price I would pay eating out at place around work. I am really happy I discovered this place, my new favorite grocery store.

I love Sprouts, especially the fresh meat. The fresh unfrozen turkey is so tender when cooked at lower temperatures in a bag. The organic vegetables are always fresh and inexpensive. The staff are very helpful. I noted that one reviewer commented about difficulties with fresh vegetables and unhelpful staff. I have never observed either of these issues and buy fruit and vegetables all the time.

A wide selection of local and a more limited selection of fresh organic produce. Not so common other products, like Polish pierogi by Kasia, a variety of frozen potato pancakes and probiotic turmeric drinks that will put your gut on fire! I recommend the generous natural supplement and vitamin section and challenge you to beat their low prices and friendly service, if you can. Good luck!

I love Sprouts and went several times a week when I lived nearby. We moved and are now right down the street from Trader Joes—which is where we usually end up. I often miss Sprouts, and well sometimes take the longer trip just to experience it again. I would absolutely give it 5 stars, but if you go at the wrong time (which is most of the time), you will be in for a parking nightmare.

I love and greatly appreciate their vitamin/suppliment section and prices. The rest of the stores products are confusing (like almost every dry product is organic but 90% of the their produce and fresh is not and for a while they had NOTHING in the bulk that was organic but I did notice that recently changed) and quality is suspect.

They have Boars head Cold cuts! that gets 4 stars alone. Great vegetable & meat selections. Much healthier & higher quality than Safeway. Highly recommended as a source for your veggies & meats. Most other stuff is expensive ( carb related items pastas & sauces, rice & baking goods) i get that from safeway.

This is easily one of my favorite grocery stores in the area. They have a very nice selection of fresh produce at competitive prices. They also have an incredible butcher. If you are seeking a cut that they dont sell, just ask and theyll be happy to get what you need if they have it in stock.

I love this place. The prices are great. The produce is great. I can get all kinds of supplements I used to have to get at the pricier stores. And the staff are friendly. I especially like Nikki in supplements. Funny and kind. The only reason I gave 4 stars is that parking can be frustrating.

This store has a great cheese selection among other items. Lots of fresh fruits and veggies, good quality fish, and I bought a store made chicken sausage that was to die for. You can find lots of Whole Foods quality without the Whole Paycheck prices at this store.

Sprouts always has great deals on produce. The rest of Walnut Creek is also aware of this and parking in its parking lot is always nightmare- and Im talking middle of a weekday. Fight for your right to park and enjoy Sprouts in all its glory.
