I was having a great time looking. I managed to find about $300.00 worth of merchandise. As I went to pay, the tag on one of my items got stuck to the cart and fell to the ground when I grabbed it. The cashier informed me, and I got the tag and put it on the desk. I then proceeded to buy all my items. When I was mid-way my transaction, I gave her the tag and she said she could not sell me the item because it had no tag. I mentioned that I understand the "no tag" policy, but she saw what happened and she was the one who called my attention to it in the first place. I asked to speak to who ever was in charge. The cashier called the other cashier next to her and said she was in charge. The "Supervisor" then asked me what happened, ignoring everything I said, then asked the original cashier "what she wanted to do?" Clearly she was just another cashier pretending. They both looked confused and called another gentleman who was "The Manager". When he arrived, all he said is "sorry, but we do have the no tag policy." Completely ignoring everything that had transpired. So now Im not only a lier, a their and a crazy person, but I also dont matter at all. This is what got me irritated, 1. The original cashier saw what happened. She is the one that pointed it out to me. 2. She lied to my face, and to the 2nd "Supervisor." Lied again to the "Manager." 3. The "Supervisor" asked the cashier "what she wanted to do?" Are you a supervisor then or not. (Obviously a lie). 4. The Manager could have seen the camera tape to see what had happened, instead of just saying "We have a no tag policy." Totally ignoring what I had said and just assuming I was lying. 5. The employees make the people feel like Sh@*. I think that from now until I get a very sincere apology, I am going to find a way to close the store down or get some cashiers fired. I have never been treated so insignificant in my life.

One of those weird situations where a great place goes awry due to too many customers looking to sell stuff online and lots of employees who are tired of the craziness. The place gets some good stuff and they used to price them much better when they were on Lankershim. It was a REAL thrift store back then where they made money and people found reasonably priced goodies. Theyve come a long way baby. They do get better items primarily due to their army of pick up trucks and vans. I mean if Goodwill got off their lazy butts and actually offered pick up service then smaller stores like this would definitely suffer. However, although you do find the occasional goodies here and there, it is much more difficult and cumbersome because of the parking, the crowd of shoppers and ebayers as well as kids kids kids everywhere treating the store as their little playland. - as others have stated, it gets overwhelming Store does tend to get stuffy and smelly as others pointed out. But you know, thats to be expected. Were not shopping in Macys after all! I used to frequent the book section mostly but that has gone down in quality and up in prices. Besides the barrage of ebayers who grab and horde all the good books as theyre brought up on the cart. You basically have no chance. Best bet is clothing because they have so much so much so much of the stuff. But dont buy the regular price tags. They have a tri color discount system where three colors are on sale each day and all but one color is on sale on Wednesdays. On a scale of 1-10 Id rate this place a 4. Primarily factors being their higher pricing and diminished volume of good to great items due to lots of shoppers and ebayers. One last thing. Dont be intimidated by the huge lines. They move them real fast. This is definitely a plus for their cashier crew

I had circled around looking for parking and finally got one. Went in and looked OK. It was busy which brought a lot of tension everywhere. Customers getting argumentative with each other. Kids screaming. Just not a peaceful place. Everyone pushes you , gets in the way. Youd think this was black Friday here. The tags were deceiving. They used marker to put one number. So I thought $3. But on these tags theres a imprintbof 95 on it which they use to trick you as some marked numbers upside down. So fifteen item later you pay $15 more than you thought and tax when this is a non tax paying thrift store. They are exempt from taxes most the time. Not sure of this one. The cashiers are not helpful and give you attitude. Not professional. A lot of good prices but some stuff over priced. You duct know where the stuff coming from. They charge $40 for a run down doll house you can get for $20 on CL. They get this stuff for free and its 100% profit. They are greedy and the workers here are aweful. I went to my car where another was parked illegally in back of me. They took forever to do anything and I have disabilities. It was complete caous here and traumatic. Never will I go back again. The attitude I got by the way made me decide to cancel purchasing them. I will spend where I get treated better.

I love this place, going in never know what I am going to come out with, its like treasure hunting. They are by far the best thrift store I have ever seen in my entire life. The place is like thrift store heaven, lots of cashiers, incredible amount of inventory constantly being placed on the floor from the back by their staff, great prices and its like a Walmart super store as far as size and variety of goods they offer. Whoever opened this place and owns is a genius. Heads up, this place does get super crowded during their peak hours, a lot of the staff working there are mostly spanish speaking & barely speak any english, they are only open until 6 pm / 6 days a week, so make sure you get there early, they are closed on Sundays and they only take CASH. No credit cards or checks are accepted. So make sure you take a ample amount of cash with you into this thrift store super heaven store.

For being a second hand store this place offers a huge selection of clothing, that they have alot of, although its a little pricier than other spots like it. The book and movie/cd selection is okay and everything else is awful. Parking average, except on weekends then its bad, the area has improved quite a bit, its not bad, day or night really. A little on the pricey side.......

You never know what you will find in this place. I love to get lost here and find cool pieces. It doesnt have that trift store smell and every day they have a new deal. My 6yrs loves getting books here, theyre usually new or like new condition usually $1-2 a piece which i love.
