This is a gem of a thrift store, tucked on a side street. Parking is free, but limited. Staff is kind and helpful. Prices are more than fair, especially during their 50% off sales. I love that all sales contribute to helping children. My recent trip, I found 50s vintage Italian leather gold pumps, small Dansk bowl, set of 6 Japanese glass tumblers, vintage Pyrex container, pair of 5 lb weights, skateboard helmet and small Finnish porcelain serving bowl...all for $35.

This place has the nicest volunteers working there. They are friendly and helpful and funny. The shop raises money for childrens charities and actually gives the money to them. They are not a for profit organization taking advantage of the less fortunate like goodwill. They are the definition of a charitable thrift store. Even though they are only open a few hours 5days a week, it is worth going often to check out what treasures you didnt know you needed are there.

The friendly ladies of the Assistance League Thrift Shop have done job of making it a pleasant place to shop: the music is good; the decor is always changing and always wonderful. The only problem? Its really hard to walk out without something new you didnt know you needed. At least its cheap... And for a good cause.

This shop is my favorite- great sales on household goods all the time. Clothes are priced fairly and nicer quality (curated more than goodwill). If only the hours were better I would be here every week!
