If there is a zero star rating, I would love to give a zero. This rating is not for the store, but for the store manager (I think his name is Douglas; a tall gray haired guy). I never seen such a jerk store manager like him in any store. He is very arrogant and lack of manner of talking to a customer, I bought three bags of raw cashew my wife asked for a total of $17.25 on April 14. However, my wife wanted roasted cashew, not the raw one. Therefore, I went to return the completely unopened bags on April 17. . . The manager refused to return. His justification was it was my mistake and the cashew is perishable;. what a non-sense justification. I left the cashew at his store, because I m not going to use them, so why bother to bring back home. Can you believe it, he kept the bags and still did not return my money. Now I consider that money gone to "Douglas Benefit". . ,

Little else to purchase here but their produce -- when its on sale. Im a vegan, so much of what they carry is fascinating, since so much of it is "ethnic," but it all looks wonderful. The produce department workers know their stuff, which is good. And I really, really like the women who work the checkout lanes! If I lived on that side of town, Id probably pop in far more often, if only because of those nice people.

This market has lots of variety at fantastic prices. The tomatoes on the vine I purchased on June 28th were $1.19 lb and gorgeous, full of flavor. The eggplant, peaches and cherries ($1.99 lb), again, full of flavor. Ive been looking for rhubarb at my local name brand market without any luck. Valley Market had it for $2.99 lb. Rhubarb pie tonight! The checker was nice and efficient. Im going back.

Great market for certain hard to find items like ethnic foods. Dont count on good deals on household items like soap, detergents and paper goods. Great for picking up beef and chicken for grilling. They even have a kabob takeout in the market which is really good. The deli takes forever so you wont be in and out quickly but they do have a great selection. Go in and take a look for yourself.

Great market with lots of hard to find items. Im not sure what the negative reviews are all about but the market smells of fresh bakery items as well as spices and other smells you should find at any quality grocer. Perhaps if the good smells are too intoxicating for your senses youll find yourself more at home at a Whole Foods and pay the prices too. My new favorite grocer!!!

I liked their products from Southeast Asia! I bought two Sambal Terasi one mild, and one extra hot. Both taste delicious. Also I bought Sambal by Capibu :) This is one of favorite shop to buy those items. They sell Kinder chocolates which taste awesome too! I just hope they change their lighting to more of a warm LED light to encourage better shopping experience

I love this place. The produce is fresh and locally grown...which is always a plus. Customer services is great. For fresh produce straight from the farm I shop here. Amazing prices as well...they have some really good deals...which they came out with their new ad on Wednesday instead of Thursday but its worth waiting one more day for the deals.

I still love Valley Marketplace Valencia. They are in the process of building a new wine bar where the bulk items used to be. Please note that they are no longer dog friendly. One of the employees told me that a few customers from a specific cultural background were complaining to HQ. Boo!

Nice quaint, international matket. Lots of middle eastern options, good bakery (acts separately from marlet). Service deli has great grub, hummus is awesome and different kinds; Jalapeno n sriracha are killer. Oh, fresh pita chips are addicting.

Great for ethnic foods and snacks. It is fun to explore what the world has to offer in this grocery store. It has a great tea selection. Would give it 5 stars but Im not a fan of the smell. It smells like raw meat.

Since this is the only viable deli in SCV, its not hard to be the best, but this place goes a step beyond. Since the ad comes out a day late, Ive already done most of my other shopping for the week before I get it.

Good selection, managers and cashiers are friendly. The deli is great and bakery has been my go to as they are amazing. Been helped by Alissa a couple of times and she is amazing. Ill keep coming back for sure.

Great market with lots of unique items for the average western marketplace. Love the meat section as it has great deals and all sorts of interesting items perfect for the "raw meaty bone" diet I feed my dog

Great market for shopping for natural veggies and fruits. I believe they obtain them from the 126 freeway farms. This place also is really ethnic with different cultural ingredients and foods

its a grocery store with lots of foreign stuff and great deals. recommend everyone check it out at least once and look around
